If we're handing out laurels lets give a well deserved shout-out to ColumbusOHGamer, creator of cmmods.com, the mod mothership! :D

well, then, you both deserve praise! :D
  2. Heya fellas, just wanted to say how grateful I am to modders like MikeyD (and others, like Ed of "Ed's Trees" ;) Honorable mention to the guy that did the 3 versions of Waffen SS cammo patterns as well (WSS1, WSS2 and WSS3)), for visually transforming the game to such a wonderful degree.

I gorged myself on mods from CMMods, and I feel like I am playing a different game! from the gaming interface to new trees and ground cover. new buildings. I am speechless!

Again, thanks and hats off to all the great modders out there. I really appreciate it. :D

Anyway I found that amusing as I find it easy to command and control and still zoom in for the awesome detailed action

all of "chazman"'s 11 posts are complaints. speaks for itself. a nappy (diaper) change and a bah-bah, and he'll be fine in a few hours. he just needs to cry it out a bit. :D

  6. Started up a German campaign, and finished the 1st battle. it was tougher than needed be, because I was a complete spaz with the camera controls (learned a trick today with the middle mouse button that will solve that).

I thought the battle was exciting and challenging. Really enjoyed it, and man, the time flew by. I looked at the clock, and it was "D'oh! I gotta work tomorrow! smile.gif

Hope you guys are enjoying it as much as I am. I love the cool "feel" of having the dudes progress through the campaign, with experience and such. really looking forward to many more hours with this release! :D

  7. hope I am not intruding here, but I really think we need a series of "stickied" FAQs, concerning these topics, and especially a "working the camers" FAQ.

    very important, IMO. thanks. smile.gif

For me, it made camera control much more intuitive. I push forward & back to control the camera with the middle mouse to control rotation. It may help to crank the sensitivity of your mouse (it is RTS after all smile.gif )

I find I can get down to the micro-views for control and eye candy quicker.

that is some key news for me! thanks! so, middle mouse button it is then. I was really trying to re-create the camera movement and "controlability" from the CMBB/AK games. I thought that was best.

    wOOt!

so, just to be precise, while pressing (and holding?) the middle mouse button (the wheel in my case), I can rotate the camera "in place" like in CMBB?

    Thanks in advance.
