    1. The swedish convoys only work after Sweden reaches 25% activation. I made no changes here.

    2. The game turns are seasonal and simultaneous with 14 day normalization. This means that turns in summer are 1 week with 50% MPP production. Fall and Winter are 2 weeks with normal MPP production and Winter is 1 month with double MPP production.

    3. If you MPPs shot up after the fall of France maybe its because of plunder as well?

    2. De Gaulle activation of Free French army, armor and HQ Leclerc date corrected.

    3. Morrocco, Algeria and French-West Africa garrison activation corrected.

    4. Free French HQ flag corrected.

  3. OK, its done. My updated "Honch Custom Scenario" will be posted on CMMods in an hour or two. It includes:

    1. Addition of the atomic bomb as a tech. (replacing rockets)

    2. Addition of minor cities as a terrain tile with same values as forest.

    3. Addition of Venezuela, India, Belgium and Netherlands (separated), French-West Africa, Morocco, Algeria, South Africa, French Equatorial Africa, Nigeria, Gold Coast, Palestine/Trans-Jordan, Anglo-Egypt Sudan, Kenya, Madagascar, Free France, Afghanistan, British Somaliland, Italian East Africa, French Somaliland, Liberia, Portugese Guinea, Aden Protectorate, Japan (off-map hex) and a few others.

    4. Tweaking of various attack/defense values, build costs and times, tech levels and costs, DOW scripts etc. SS are not as effective against capital ships but harder to hit. USSR, Italian and most minor infantry starts off with weaker attack. Amphib action points reduced for all except UK/USA. More historical free unit arrivals, eg. Patton, Eisenhower, Manstein, Rommel, Montgomery, US lend lease DD to UK, De Gaulle, Leclerc, Free French units, Free Poles in Egypt, Tito, etc. etc.

    5. Addition of post-surrender Soviet partisans, German surface raider capability, Japanese option of garrisoning Madagascar, creation of Free France as a nation, free Polish, Greek, Belgian and Dutch scripts, Indian and Venezuelan convoys, transfer of UK government to Halifax instead of Alexandria and others.

    6. Historical German flags.

    Warning: The AI has not been changed as I await the first patch. So if you play as the Axis do not expect a US or UK Torch, Anvil or D-Day.

  4. From my understanding of the user manual, you only get points from resources, either captured or allied, if you:

    A) Have a convoy route from that country to one of your ports or;

    B) There is a direct land route of 100% allied tiles between the resource and your capital.

    1. Therefore, Germany does not get resource points from captured UK resources? If thats the case, whats the point of having UK partisans?

    2. Also, I assume the only reason Germany would want to invade Norway would be to put AFs there to secure the convoy route and to put a unit in Trondheim to secure that port?

    Can anyone clarify this?

  5. If Hubert were to post a list of changes he is working on for the upcoming patch it would help all of us modders who use our own custom campaigns. By seeing what is in the new patch we can avoid re-creating the wheel and making our own modifications only to download the new patch with those changes already made. Make sense?

    For example, I have made extensive event script changes and would like to do more but don't want to re-do something that will be in the patch anyway.

    I would love to have a simple summary of:

    1. map changes

    2. event script changes

    3. AI script changes

    4. miscellaneous

  6. I am hoping that these errors are corrected in the patch:

  7. I have added a Free Greek, Free Polish, Free Belgian and Free Dutch script to allow 40% chance of naval units switching to the UK and 100% of land units switching (they have to be in UK controlled territory.

    I have also added Free France as a separate nation (using the Luxembourg slot) with French Equatorial Africa as an off map hex where they can build units. (very little MPPs though) De Gaulle HQ arrives there in 1940.

    I have also added a UK Corps (1st Free Polish) to arrive in Egypt in 1940 as the defense of Egypt in early 1940 was in the hands of mainly Poles, Indians, New Zealanders and some British troops.

  8. I have now created a new map for my Fall Weiss 1939 scenario including all of Africa north of Belgian Congo/Kenya and East to Karachi.

    It includes scripts for all of the Vichy and Free French territories such as French Equatorial Africa (Free), French Somaliland (Vichy), French West Africa (Vichy) and even Madagascar (Vichy).

    It includes all Italian Abyssinia, Eritrea and Somaliland as well as British Somaliland, Northern Kenya, Anglo-Sudan and even part of the Belgian Congo.

    Resources added include Khartoum, Addis Ababba, Karachi, Dakar, Casablanca, Aden, Jibuti and Mogadishu.

    The scripts work and I have used red arrow naval loops to include South Africa as an off map hex.

    You can't expect the AI to really work with these new territories as I have not scripted any AI stuff yet, just made sure that the event scripts work.

    As soon as I get the terrain tiles all complte I will post the new mod to CMMODS.

  9. I just tried to run a new game with my custom campaign and when I go into advanced options, scripts and look through the defaults for the campaign there are no Surrender scripts under the Surrender title! I ran the editor to check for errors and there are none. All of the scripts seem to be intact. I even tried copying the original Fall Weiss Surrender Script file into my custom campaign directory to restore the original file. Nothing! Help?
