MOD is a MODIFICATION of some parts of a game Back in the day, making things from scratch... I.e. a duke nukem game turned into a vietnam shooter would be called a Total Conversion = T.C. and a Mod was just editing some of the files... I.E. Making jetpack useable whenever, rpg fires 100x faster... guys ahve more health... sounds were changed... added a few new guns etc. all mods... 'Total conversion' Never hung around though... so people just use 'mod' now... E.G. Counterstrike is a Mod for half-life Your soundmod is a Mod for T-72... Both are modifications... doesn't mean squat in what the difference is... YOU WIN lol

Yeah i dont like how the buildings destroy and how suddenly you can loose your tread for no apparent reason... (granted i drive like a crazy s.o.b. so lol maybe jumping a 40 ton tank isnt a good idea? lol) But overall the graphics for the ammount of PHYSICS involved in trajectories etc can be understandable... people need to realize what else the CPU is doing besides processing the eye candy!! And using the shovel thing to dig out positions it makes the terrain blob and do weird things... and it wont dig after a while in the same spot... any tips on how to use that or is deformable terrain messed up in the demo?

Thanks for the reply... Battlefront.com Anyway... if all they're knocking out is an installation glitch then that means the demo is most likely ready... unless some gameplay problem crops up, I'd bet its safe to estimate sometime within the next week at most? Can't wait!

And besides, your link still isnt working... ...mapsample.zip \ ...mapsample.html nothing works... And besides he may be trying to actually EDIT the output files directly instead of having the engine create a topo map for him... who knows he looks determined... he may find a way

All I would like to know for russian demo is what using the 1 - 0 keys on the top of the keyboard do... cant decypher the language

May have to do with that program you are using... do you have 2 pcs in your home? Try setting up a lan with that... if not... you'll have to wait for someone to see if LAN game works correctly for them and then you can rule out that it is the program you downloaded... So... just to clarifiy... could someone test LAN in an actual LAN setup to make sure it works? I'd bet 99% that its the program you're using though...

No wonder no one has anything in thier computers on this 'phantom game' lol Thx for reply though... You'll hear more from me once I get my hands on the demo...
