  1. JJhouston got it right. You attach it to tanks both tracks with some wire and use the log for some extra traction. Works in situations like if your nose has sunk to a swamp and the rear end is still up... Of course better to tow with 1-2 tanks...
  2. Yep, there's no computer to calculate the lead in T-72(. You simply take manual lead, that's what the lines next to the ^ are for. Watching the shooting gallery video brings another thing to mind. Why isn't the maingun kicking up dust when fired. The dust and smoke from the gun should block the tanks vision for at least few seconds. Of course it's only a small thing, but being unable to see where your shot went in ranges less than 2000 m is a problem if the target is still alive when the dust settles.
  3. I'd really like to see the interiors. One will never just look through the sights. The angle of vision is only few degrees so you're not seeing much. That's why there are periscopes all around the turret. And seeing that old, rusty interior with all the gadgets more or less working would be really nice. Clickinf them with mouse and so on. And to see the rainwater dripping through the hatches... Seeing the face of the commander when he drops to his seat after receiving small-arms fire. Removing misfired ammunition from the tank CMG. I think it would give a lot more athmosphere to the game. Only thing I wouldn't miss would be the cold and the smell. And all those little parts hitting my body when the driver decides to drive on the bumps a little too hard. Silent Hunter 3 does a good job with this part. So does IL-2.
  4. I've never seen a completely working russian vehicle. They all have some problems. But the nice thing is it really doesn't matter. If one system fails, there is a way to go around it. And as everything is very simple, crude and un-computerized, you can fix it yourself. And if there's a leak... "nyet problema, nyormal". "For little problems use hammer, for bigger ones use the sledgehammer." <- And it really works in most cases. I wouldn't try it on newer westerns as they might break!
  5. I dropped a tool under my tank's rolling floor and the turret turning engine couldn't turn anymore -> we had a hell of a fight to get the turret turning again... Now, turning the maingun into ground and flipping the tank on tracks again... Sounds like they updated the turret turning engine for the game .
