I also am having the exact same problem. Cant get the hotfix to work. Secondly, The cheat win on the interface lights up but will not allow me to input a key. I am running version 1.5 Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the tips. It turned out to be my router. Reinstalled it and and accessed ports to allow CMBB through. Now I'm enjoying a whole new world of TCP/IP.

Help...Unable to connect to any opponents via TCP/IP. I have windows XP Home, high speed connection, and run MS firewall.Have allowed cmbb to access through firewall and also have a wireless D Link 624 hooked up. Have tried to follow instructions in manual in opening a port in the router, but still nothing works. Whether I try to connect or my opponent, we both get the response " Cannot connect to specified IP address." My opponents can play each other , so it must be my connection. I have read all the threads and tried online support, but so far no luck. I am at the end of my limited knowledge on computers and request help Been playing PBEM, but now wish to try TCP/IP. If anyone has any ideas, they would be much appreciated. Thank you.

As for the opponent finder forum, I never noticed it until now. Thanks again, I will go to the correct forum. BTW, I thoughrouhly enjoy reading both cmbb/cmak forums daily. Lots of great info. Not sure if this is the right forum Fist time Ive posted anything. I have been playing CMBB since it came out and have played numerous scenarios, battles and operations vs ai. Have downloaded many superb scenarios etc from various sites and thoughroughly enjoyed playing them. I have just taken the plunge and am playing my first pbem byte battle and i'm hooked. Just wondering about finding oopnents. Have put my name on different forums as an available opponent however, not many responses. probab ly because Im " green " at playing against humans. Just looking for some tips on finding opponents and if anyone is interested, email me and i will gladly battle. I have both cmak/cmbb and play both continous, however i prefer the eastern front. Thanks
