I have often wondered how this works? I know you get points for capturing flags but, say, if one of my tanks gets it (is destroyed), is this calculated into the total points? I assume this must be the case because you can get objectives but if you lose all your troops etc then you dont win. Sorry for the garbled question, but how does it work? I am asking this because I have been in various situations where I could throw my last AFV etc at a flag but is the cost in material worth it? What is the calculation that I should make? Does the system use the number of points it costs to buy something?

Cheers guys, I found a scenario by John Herrshaft? Any way its of easy capturing the guns at Brecourt. Has anyone played it as I can only get an Aliied tactical vic. And does anyone know excatly, based on this scenario, what are the 'text book' moves. As I would like to compare with my own. If you want the scenario then email please - its only 7 turns. I.e I dont want to know what easy did, as I kinda get that but what you should do in this scenario. Just another question has anyone ever done an evaluation of the same topic scenario's? For example on my travels I have come across 3 'Merville Battery' scenarios 2 of which looked accruate (I have been there) but the 3 plays the best? And one further question, is there anybody out there who has these scenario evlauations? I suppose some sites allow you to post comments but I am talking about the best of thes best of a historic battle or encounter? OK...

I am gonna make a 1/72 model of a Finnish Stug. I want to do it in the tri-colour scheme. But I am kinda unsure about the colours, these look like: Olive drab green A grey or bluish white? Buff tan (not like panzer yellow?) If anyone new the exact Humbrol colours even better?

Never had the previlage of visiting...Its near Oxford? M40? Lidl ; bought a chicken from there once and cooked it but it was off! Sure they have cleaned up their act since. Did you hear the explosion? I am about 15 miles or so away.

I have made a scenario where the yanks have to cross a river and establish a bridgehead on the other side. I put them in the assult boats, cross the river and to my suprise when they get to the other side, the boats can carry on on land? How do I stop this, also, when they are driving/sailing the boats on the land, anti-personnel mines dont seem to take affect?

OK I GIVE UP!!!! Major Tum vs Mikado 1st place allied Melb_will vs Major Tum 1st place German In both these games I managed to give the other guy the 1st place! Ok against Melb_will I did quite badly but it wasn't a complete defeat, so I sort of' understand. BUT Against Mikado (no dis-respect) but I cleared the anti-tank screen, got into Norrey and held half of it! :eek: Cant wait for the third result PS If it turns out that I gave most of the points away then I should get some? eh? guys?
