i dont know if it makes sense but i found out that on Full Fog it is easier to play against the AI, like for example on partial or no fog, if a regular 37 MM sees your BT7 - count it dead 9/10 times. on full fog it has a chance... [ January 15, 2005, 07:20 PM: Message edited by: Talk'scheap ]

oh yeah i meant t-38, the 2xMG tankette. yeah i havent played ever map in the game yet but this was one that i have been trying to beat for a long time. im still surporsed fog of war made such a difference because i thought it was supposed to make gameplay more challenging...

Wow. Just finished playing the Totenkof map with Extreme fog of war. I had no idea fog of war mattered when playing against the AI! - I got a TACTICAL VICTORY. Finally. On top of that all 4 BT-7's made it unscathed! The BA-10's bit the dust however as well as one of the T-28 tankettes.

yeah ive been meaning to play with a person but i dont really know anyone plus i only had the game for a month i suck

i dont know but i dont imagine that the guards were really a fighting force, more like a an armed presense at checkpoints and such as i've said....and they probably did patrols and things like that.

in cmbb i would represent them as just "regular" infantry with some "veterans" thrown in. yes, parts of them were nkvd. the official "border guards" were, soldiers at checkpoints, customs, etc. as far as for troops stationed at the border i think most were regular army.

yeah but it would be a fun to win an against all ods scenario like these. plus the totenkof scenario i belive is very winnable, the forces mix is good...i just played it again, got a minor deafeat...

Both playing as Allies vs AI. Totenkomf (sp?) Anchor Point (green vs. elite SS) anyone get a victory on these ever? Anchor point slaughtered me every time, totenkomf the most i was able to get was a minor victory with heavy losses.

I was appauled to see that there are no special unit protraits for the black-clad marine units and that you get olive drab khaki infantry portraits for them! How could have this been allowed and is there a mod that fixes this?! I know it's not a big deal but it's been bugging me too much. :mad:
