BF has created for us and for themselves a "Conundrum". BF filled a void with the CM series of WW2 tactical level games. The response from people like me and from the gaming community has been more than positive, it has become demanding. We the people that play the CM series have researched archives,both online and fixed real life records to become more familiar with what really happened in WW2. And of course we are demanding from BF that they continue with what they started. ONLY now we are" better educated" and demand more from BF. The games that BF produce in the future from their new endevor CMX2 will probabley cost more for them to produce. I am prepared to purchase another three game series or four game series based on the new sofware and continuning research of BF.

Thanks also to you Panther Commander for your efforts on my behalf. Im converting "Gothic" to a CMAK scnario thanks to Pyewackets map converter. Im also converting several other scenarios that wouldnt work in CMBO due to size into CMAK scenarios. Thanks again poppy

Thanks for the reply Dandelion, I have only played against the AI and a few games over a local network in my own home so I didnt stop to consider the time element in a PBEM game. I hope whoever is playing or do play any of my scenarios enjoy them and any feed back will be appreciated, good or bad. poppy

Thought that Id get this subject on the correct forum. Im in the process of constructing several huge scenarios both "battle" and "operation" in which Im attempting to us all on map artillery. Its a challenge and a fun one. The mobile arillary is too expensive and dosent last long. So this is a plug for indirect on map arty. poppy

Sounds interesting for the smaller field pieces and the 120mm mort. Resupply could be handled by a supply truck staged at the designated reinforcemnt point and then driven to the on map artillary. A command like "resupply" which would take up a couple of turns or so to complete could then be given.??poppy

Thanks for the reply Junk2drive, I researched my memory which is pretty foggy and which my video card wont display and reviewed two scenarios at the Scenario Depot that I played for many enjoyable hours. And theres many more. Im recalling them now. poppy

Hey guys send in those reviews to Senairo Depot. Either the stats are wrong and stra ts er stats are never wrong but more reviews are needed if we the players expect more scenarios from the creators. poppy

This is for the "HUGE" senario fans which I am one of. Would it be too much of a stretch for howitzers and larger than 80mm mortars to be included in CMX2 as "on map" indirect fire? Common through us a bone here. poppy Love the game trying to stretch.

On map indirect artillary fire. It would have to be a very large map as a minimum distance to target is the determining factor for each type of artillary. Artillary duels,anti-artillary units ?? Self propelled artillary would be more valuable than it is now. poppy

Hi CombinedAmrms. It looks like it would be best to confront a Panther from the flank with at least 3 M4 75s or 2 M476s or 1 M4 105 EasyEight. within 600m or so. I shouldnt say this or the price of 105 EasyEights will go up. :

Hi CombinedArms, Tried the flank shot with 5 M5A1s and 5 M475s same result at 500m ,1 dead Panther 5 dead M5s or M4 75s Tried it with 5 EasyEights flanking 5 Panthers at 500m and BINGO 1 dead Sherman and 5 dead Panthers. Theres still hope.

Hi YankeeDog, You mean we allies,excepting the Russians, fought the remainder. Thank God we didnt have to fight all of them. What proportion of the Axis forces did the Amercian/British coalition fight. poppy

Im at a loss to explain how the Americans and the British advanced in the Norhern Europe, Italy, Africa campaings. Depending upon which report you read the Sabos did it, the Tanks did it, the Poor infantry did it, the AT guns did it,and back and forth??? Need a "Gramlins" for perplexed, confused.
