Here is the situation in a PBEM game that I am in. I am Allies and it is May 12 1940. Germany has taken Poland, Denmark, and the LC. He has 700 mpp's in the bank and it appears that he has bought 3 Air Fleets, 1 Tank, and at least 2 Techs since he has level 2 tanks and level one jets. Can the germans get enough Mpps to buy all of these units so early in the game not withstanding any mpps that he has used for reinforcing and operating units(I know for a fact he reinforced a army from 1 to 10)? I just feel that something is not right about this. I have tried to do the math and I cannot come up with the needed MPPS. Thanks [ July 03, 2004, 09:41 PM: Message edited by: Aztecace ]

I did a full sub campaign after the allies lost alot of ships trying to defend France. I isolated the U.S. so that he could not get any of his armies off American soil! I had 6 level 15 subs at the time. Pretty nice. I was able to pull off a late game Sealion with the Italians. [ June 22, 2004, 05:47 PM: Message edited by: Aztecace ]

Does a french unit have to be in a allied controlled hex to become free french after the fall of paris? What happens to french transports at sea?

I am think the thousands of US prisoners of war that were freed with the taking of the Phillippines would not call it a blunder.

I am going to have to disagree with you on that one. General MacArthur was no way near a terrible general. In fact he accompished alot of great things as a general and administrator. I am not saying that he didn't make mistakes but who didn't. Cases in point. 1. You cannot blame him for losing the Philipines. He had been asking for more support in the Philipines since he took over there. But the government didn't give him anything. As for leaving before the fall. He was ordered by President Roosevelt to leave. Other wise, he would have rotted in a Japanese prison camp for the rest of the war. 2. He indeed did return to the Philipines! 3. His leadership as the Supreme Commander of Allied Powers in Japan rebuilt that country into a powerful democratic nation. 4. MacArthur reversed the dire military situation in the early months of the Korean war with a brilliant amphibious assualt behind the North Korean lines at the Port of Inchon. Though he did miscalucate badly when he ordered U.N. forces to approach the Chinese border which triggered the entry of Chinese forces into the conflict.

What are the areas where axis subs can raid? Can Axis surface ships raid? Is the American coast a area that can be raided when they declare war on the Axis? What are the maximum amounts of damage that surface raiders can inflict a turn? Thanks in advance. Aztecace

I was wondering about the "blood" hex myself. As I am also abit new at the game. I figure the elbow hex is that part of france along the coast just south of the Low Countries border. It kinda sticks out like a elbow.

I sent my turn a few hours back. I will resend it.

So was that your "fatal error" the first turn of our game?
