I am thinking of ordering theCMBB/CMAK package direct from BFC because I do not want to wait for the Australian release. My question is how long would it take to get to Australia once I order?

Is CMAK a stand alone game or is it a CMBB addon ?

I have got this program working now and yes me too ! Did not tell the program which folder to look for mods in just directed to the folder when loading a new mod. One question though I can not get a preview picture like that shown in the instructions. It looks like the JPEG is defaulting to AcDsee a program I use a lot.

That's OK, so if I use version 4 pasting unzipped files to BMP folder I should get the same result but just use extra hard disc space ? Is this right ? If I understand correctly you are upgrading CMMOS CMBO files to allow zipped files to be stored in the BMP folder ? When do you think this will be available ?

I'm sorry I do not understand your post. The mods I downloaded and installed from Combat Mission HQ seem to work so what's wrong with them ? I'm using the latest CMMOS version which says supports CMBO ! Perhaps you mean the zips will not work ? I unzip and paste to BMPs folder. Please explain your post as it is most confusing.

I felt like you regarding CMMOS but once I worked out how to use it I think it is great, you can change uniforms/vehicles to suit each scenario or leave them as is for good ! Have you used it ? It is quicker than changing the various bitmap file names like I used to do. I'm only new but I think you would be happier using CMMOS particularly since there are so many more mods for CMBB. Anyway each to their own.

Why no Allied or US uniforms for CMMOS ?

Bought CMBO new in Adelaide for $42.00aus from Berlin Wall. Still want CMBB & CMAK though.Only got about 300 CMBO missions to play if I ever finishing moding.Turned into a slut !

Each to their own but for the last few days I have been experimenting with both programs and have finally worked out how to use both by reading various posts. I feel that both programs instructions are confusing and not written for new users. Most of the info I wanted was gained from posts to this forum rather than from the program. Having said this I personally prefer CMMOS as once you know how to use the program I think the interface is more descriptive in what it is going to do.I guess we all have our own personal preferences and this is mine. Now that I got that off my chest WOW what a difference these mods make to the game, fantastic I am glad I persevered with the mod selecting progams as it makes life easier. Finally CMBO (and CMBB soon I hope)will save me a lot of hard disc space as I can now uninstall everything else except Flight Simulator 2004 and Hidden & Dangerous as I dont think I will play anything else from now on ! Thanks to all who replied to my posts I appreciate your help.

Why the delay in releasing CMBB & CMAK in Australia is it a matter of finding a ditributor or what ? Seems very strange but there must be a reason ( better be a good one !)

Thought I might start a new thread just on this subject as this program is not working for me and perhaps someone will respond to my problem if under the correct heading. CMBB is not installed on the computer only CMBO at this stage.

Thanks for your email. McMMM installs OK but will not open the zip files I downloaded from various sites. Winrar is a common zip program which is my default and works fine usually. When I try to install a mod I receive an error message can not open file D:/....../....etc. I also get "Can not focus a disabled or invisible window "after initially trying to install the mod. Its got me whacked !

Will not work.Says that the zipped file will not open. I use Winrar as my file zipper and that is how the downloads arrive.Is there a particular program that this Mod Manager prefers as it does not appear to like Winrar. I think I am about ready to give up on these Mod Managers as I have spent most of the day with no results. One last plea for help.

Is this for MacIntosh users ? I have a Windows PC. I think I will uninstall CMMOS as it makes no sense and there is no support for users.Seems a total waste of download time.

As a newbie to this game I have played and won as both sides : Tutorial & Small Gain. What is a suggested order of missions from here to learn as I go ?

O.K.heres a simple question.I have DDs grass mod which is listed as compatable. How do I get CMMOS to list and install this mod.It shows this mod with a line through it on the interface and will not show up when I copy the file to the mods folder in CMMOS. ??????

I've spent the last hour or so trying to understand how to use CMMOS and am totally confused. What are the mods included with the standard CMMOS install, are they what comes with CMMOS and are they available for immediate use ? Still worried what they will overwrite though ! How do I get other mods into CMMOS,I copy them into Mods folder but nothing appears to happen.Tried as zipped and unzipped. HELP !
