On my computer (a MacBook Pro), the webbing/pouches turn out blue (I've downloaded the mjkerner/ez pack with khaki jackets and patches)... I guess it must be some kind of graphical 'bug' on my computer, right?
They did also on mine (iMac). I solved opening the bitmaps in Gimp and assigning them an RGB color code.

Thanks Nicdain, that would be very helpful. It's 2AM where I am so your "evening" should be a more comfortable time for me anyway.
PM me for contact info if you don't already have my email. Please also confirm that you've got the FPS info on-screen as well - that'll tell us which iteration of 1.01 you have.
OK, so good night! I'll contact you in 9 hours

Typo : ) : )
I knew there was something wrong!!
I wrote it by memory because I don't have the game at work!
-
No more modules. With NATO CMSF is to be considered finished. Let's hope Italy will find some place in CMSF2...

Phil, actually the issue of armor not moving happened in a scenario, not a QB. The scenario is "A strange awakening" and the issue affects the M3 halftracks of the 3rd platoon arriving as reinforcements.
I should have a savegame, but I am currently at work so I cannot send you til this evening
-
I also noticed the issue of units not willing to move and I have the mac version with the latest 1.01 patch
-
I noticed this issue, too. Actually, at first, I thought it was a huge encircling move...

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I had thought over visiting Gettysburg, having heard a lot about it.
Elvis restaurant could be a good idea, too, maybe on the way from NY to Buffalo.

Dear U.S. guys,
after a long wait, al last I have a chance to make a journey in the U.S.A. this summer.
The schedule is almost defined: New York, Niagara falls, Washington, Miami, Orlando... you know, some of the classical places for one that comes for the first time.
Anyway, there is a part of the schedule that is still open and is the trip from Buffalo to Washington by car through the State of Pennsylvania.
I'd like to ask you if you can suggest some nice place (town, natural park, tourist attraction, etc.) along the way which is worth the visit (and the stop).
Thank you in advance

For example, when I unzip Mord's Voice Mod, I then place the single folder (with all its subfolders) named "Mord's Immersive Voices Mod V_1.0.1" into the Z folder?
Exactly. The Z folder can accept subfolders too
-
How to create the mod folder:
1- locate the file named CM Battle for Normandy.app (it should be in Applications/CM Battle for Normandy);
2- right click on CM Battle for Normandy.app and select Show package content;
3- in the new finder window navigate in /Contents/Resources/Data;
4- In /Data, create the new folder named "Z" (or any word starting with "Z"); in this folder you will put all the mods the way Mord explained
-
Guys, I have UPDATED the file on both the Repository (may take a while for it to update there) and GAJ'S to a cleaner version. Vein was nice enough to remove all the distortion from the voices and it gives them a much smoother sound. So big thanks to him! You'll be able to tell this version from the first easy enough, I updated the names of the folder, the splash pic, and the readme to V1.0A...shouldn't be any confusion.
Thanks to everyone for all the nice praise. I am glad you are digging it. It's nice to get all the feedback after the week of work I put in.
As far as why it's not working on the Macs...Sorry, guys I have no idea what could be wrong.
Mord.
Version 1.0A is working!
Thanks Mord, great mod!

i downloaded the mod and put the "Mord's Immersive American Voices Mod" folder in Z (I have the Mac version), but when I fire the game, I can't hear any voice. If I remove the folder, I can hear the stock voices.
What's wrong?
Thanks

Thank you Ricochet-tracer. A very enlightening post!
-
No, you shouldn't have used up more than one. And all should be fine with things going forward.
OK, thanks Steve for the reply. Actually everything is running fine. The game is impressive! A big leap forward from CMSF.
Thank you for the effort you all have put in creating this masterpiece. The waiting was worth!

Applied the hotfix but after pressing play CMBN didn't start. Had to force exit, so when I launched again the app it asked me for the key. I entered again the key but this time I exited CMBN after it accepted. Then opened the game and all was fine.
Did I lose one installation? What happens now?
-
Thank you very much!
-
Maybe a dumb question: where do the mod files (i.e. brz) have to be placed in the Mac OS X version of CM:BN?
After installing the demo I couldn't find a "Data" folder where to create the "Z" subfolder.
Thanks in advance
-
Will all the three modules of SF be released too for OS X or just the base game?
-
I recently bought CM:A and I have to admit that I am liking it very much. The different environment (much greener than Syria) and the lower lethality of the weapons in respect to CM:SF make the gameplay somehow much enjoyable.
I would like to see other theatres represented with the CM engine (besides those already planned by BF:C): one could be the Korean War of the '50s
-
The forthcoming releases of these two titles, which are likely to be almost coincident, reminds to me the release of the two big hits "Country house" by Blur and "Roll with it" by Oasis which occurred both on the 14th of august 1995.
Ok... pointless thread

very nice screenshots: the uniforms are really well done. Keep it up!

I am very sorry to hear that. I had a very good impression of his personality and humanity from the interviews made for BoB.
Thank you for posting the news.

We are still trying to figure out the best way we can offer Mac versions of CM:SF and CM:A to people who already have the Windows version.
I am not sure if I understood correctly: is it going to be released a MacOSX version of CM:SF and CM:A somewhere in the near future?? That would be awesome!
First!
in Combat Mission Fortress Italy

OMG! That's a BIG surprise! I never thought I would have seen the italian theatre so soon!
