yes ,the video is crap and I didn't re-watch it 3 or 4 times:p ,I remember playing CMBO and going"Holy Crap this is cool" ,now the same scenes redone with CMBN are making me go "Holly crap this is cool":D , the scenes with the columns of Armour and the Infantry looked so much like ww2 newsreel footage ive seen ,just needs to be redone in B&W!

I hope BFC releases some of the hilarious bugs that have cropped up when the game was nearly unplayable in the early stages. Once the game is released, we'll be able to play it for real just like you.
Maybe BFC should have thrown in a Blooper Reel with the pre-Order set:D

I've just picked up all the TOW games on steam and I was having framrate hassles as well, despite having a rig that surpasses all the best requirements - I did the occlusion thing and killed shadows etc and still had problems ,so I turned off the high detail sky option ,I'm now running all the games with high settings for everything and 4x aa ,not sure if the sky's dynamic with the high setting or just a really big texture but I dont look at the sky when playing so no big lose

It's malware as a matter of fact. Tom Chick describes it best as a "browser hijacking advertising scheme". Why a small company like this would package this with a demo is beyond me. All it will succeed in doing is driving away customers, this one included.
Care to give links and evidence of this?

No problems ,I finally managed to get the repository to work so Ive got them now, and they were definitely worth the effort.

Actually, it doesn't. There's a xenon beacon in the aft end that the tracker sees. TOW 2 also has a "waffle iron" heat source which can be seen in the 8-12 micron region AKA FLIR band.

I was braindead when I made my post , meant to say I thought the fire going was maybe being fired at a Helo , thats why I was wondering if the minigun had come from a helo (sleeps fro the weak , but unfortunately its kinda needed

Check out this cool video of a raid on terrorists in Iraq at night by our troops.
One thing I don't quite understand, towards the end of the video a gun fires, it almost sounds like a mini-gun. But I can't think of any U.S. ground vehicle that has one of those mounted on it, do we have one?
There was fire going up earlier in that video , I'm wondering if the Minigun is from a Helicopter? , can't hear one but but with the sound from the fight its quite possible it was drowned out ,especially if it's standing off a bit.

Unfortunately the GM NATO mod has problems with the Marine M1's - the armour skirts and some other parts stay desert coloured.
