"The person who says they know everything is a lier or a fool" Anonymous. Well self explainitory as is the saying "you learn something new everyday." Humans are unique creatures, we learn by observation but what we do better than other creatures is being able to learn from our mistakes and rationalize, among other things. theres no shame in not knowing something. Hope this rambling makes you feel better not worse tongue.gif;)

    1) Cant remember excatly what type of shot or what type of weapon it was but the Tiger in the tank musuem in Bovingdon UK was captured because a shot managed to 'weld' the turret to the superstructure, at the 'shot trap' - Apperently, the crew, because they couldn't rotate the turret, surrendered! Hope I have remebered this correctly?

    2) I never by Tigers in CMBO as they are not worth it. I always but 'Hetzers' as they have the same punch and are only 1/3 of the points. And more importantly seem to have the same type of chance head to head, as a Tiger. I suppose the major difference to Tiger in CMBO would be the crew? I haven't tested this but would imagine an 'elite' crew could fire the first shoot a lot quicker and also reload?

    Only my thoughts. smile.gif

I don't agree about the Tiger because of its ability to brush off most tanks from long range but the Hetzer you need to be good at ambush. The tiger maybe slow and lumbering but its armour is prove against alot. One battle I had a mixture of Panzer 3 and 4's but lost all but one then received two tigers and knocked out 8 Shermans and two M10s. The Allies respected the Tiger, it was only air power and lack of numbers that made the Tigers impact minimal.

Hmm so you're saying I spelt his name wrong??? If we were doing German spelling it'll be Mikael Wittman instead. Jeez thanks for the comments. I know someone who named their dogs Hitler and Himmler.
  4. The ruling party in Germany in 1939 was: Nazis

The name of the person who made the decisions over what the German military would do on a 'macro' level (Give the invasion order for Poland for example) to the Top Military Commanders was: The hierarchy inculuding Goebbels, Fat Hermann, Hitler as Fuehrer.

This person was the leader of what political party? The Nazis

The Highest Ranking Officials in the Nazi party were often given important government posts, in Canada we use the same term. This term is: Ask Michael Dorosh.

In his inner circle of advisors and 'closest friends' Adolph hitler included this closest friend and minister of propaganda. His name is: Club foot Goebbels.

Before his death, Hitler appointed Grand Admiral Doenitz as chancellor of Germany in his will.

Yeah, something colorful and descriptive, like "Ozzie Puke", for instance.
