  1. I know I shouldn't click on that link when I'm at school. But I did . Looks nice. I think I'm going to ignore the man in front of the class now and start dreaming about using the mod.
  2. I thought I've seen them in the game too. Not sure about that. Could be a mod I downloaded.
  3. The grid is not an ingame option like turning the smoke graphics off. The gridded terrain is a mod. You may download it at cmmods. The gridded terrain makes it easier to see subtile terrain elevations and distances. It really makes your life on the polygone battlefield much easier.
  4. There is a thread about killing tigers in this very same section of the board. Here's a link BTW if you ever feel like playing a PBEM, give me a sign. I'm a little less new than you are, but still very.....I love this game!
  5. Don't know about the other languages, but in Dutch a "tank" is called a "tank". Or a "pantser" (pronounced the same way as Panzer).
  6. I've tried that, but it only made the TC unbutton to see where those eightteen holes in a perfect circle around his tank came from. After taking out six of my tanks, I got really, really mad and sent my T34/85 at full throtle through a enemy held street to flank this sob. A daring move, since I could hear panzerfausts and -schrecks firing around him. My T34 took that guy out at 20m, reversed and came back in one piece. Not bad for a tank crew who's missing a commander. edited my spelling [ April 02, 2003, 04:49 AM: Message edited by: Moe ]
  7. In the last few battles I've played, the AI's armour seemed to be on one side of the map. Could that be because of the terrain?
  8. Ah, Combat Bloopers. Newb story: A few days ago I played an assualt-QB as the Russians. Everything was going fine until I suddenly saw a platoon of Jagdpanthers emerging in teh distance. I completely focused on destroying those JP's, only to forget to actually carry out my attack. My precious infantry was still hiding in cover, waiting for me to give the order to attack.
  9. Sure, why not? I'm a complete newb. A n00b even.
