I'll just wait for my pre-order email from Battlefront that tells me it is ready to download.

There is this link to the BOB page that was valid for CMBB. How much could a language change in , what 70 years?
-
It almost makes me think something from CMBS accidentally made it into the latest patch.
-
Is the editor, yes they are there. I am specifically talking about quick battle purchase screen. June, July, August or September does not have a heavy tank regiment or heavy individual tanks for purchase.
This is like when RT first came out, you could not purchase SMG equipped Germans in QB's, but you could in the editor.
-
Maybe that means there are not that many qb's that have been played since the release?
-
No, they were there in an earlier version. They must have been left out in either 1.02 or 1.03.
-
I show the same problem. Nothing heavier than a medium tank seems to be available in QB's. Assault guns get heavy stuff but not tank battalions. Also v1.03.
It is only the Soviet Guards units that do not have the heavy tank regiment. They are present in the regular Soviet army formations.

Have you tried this method?
1. From the briefing screen, hit print screen
2. alt tab out of the game
3. open up a blank word document and paste?
Then zoom screen to 500%.
Admittedly you have to do each page but it's easier than eye strain and it only takes a few keystrokes..
Works with Win 7 and Office 2013. Don't know how it would work on a Mac.
It works on SF, but obviously I cannot try BS yet.

It does. Or at least it did for me. I think. I can't see any "full version" button, so I must already be using it... Assuming I'm looking at the same "front page" you are.
The only time I see the Full Version button at the bottom of the page is on my android device. Touching that makes it full version on the phone but a b*tch to read because the font goes microscopic. There is a use mobile version visible when I am in Full Version on the phone. I don't have that option on the PC. Perhaps the forum is smart enough to know what is accessing it and gives the appropriate options.
-
You only seem to see your own, not anyone else's. Must be some new, secret forum tool to keep us miscreants in line.
-
I answered my own question, for once. It seems that you can get that capability back by selecting full version st the bottom. Down side is that the font gets smaller but now I know how to get around it. Just go back to mobile mode.

Is there a way on the android mobile version to get the various pages of a thread to be accessed, other than scrolling through all of the posts? (as in go to the last page/post) I like the fact that I no longer need a magnifying glass to see the text though.
I'm talking about the new forum, not CM touch.

I'm looking forward to them.

I just completed a h2h of this and I want to thank you for all the time and work you put into it. This is the 1st time I actually took out 3 AFV's in 1 battle using infantry only. It was a most enjoyable and tense match up that wound up resulting in an Allied minor victory. I was pleasantly surprised at some of the hidden victory conditions. Didn't find that out until the dust cleared.
Keep building them.

Yes, can't tell your .btt from your .cam if its zipped or rared.

Having found the two campaigns that shipped with CMRT a little large for my taste I have finally decided to ask a question that has been in my mind since the repository first started (whenever that was!):
There are lots of wonderful and painstakingly-created scenarios and campaigns in the repository, but how do you tell a campaign apart from a scenario without reading the description?
What I'm looking for are smaller user-made campaigns (such as a thoroughly excellent PIR mini-campaign for CMBN whose name now escapes me).
Any guidance, or should I just continue to read through all the descriptions to find the campaigns?
R
It is not always a finite number , but look at the size of the download. MOST of the battles are 2,000kb or less. The campaigns tend to be much larger. If you just look at the detailed descriptions of the ones larger than that, it might narrow it down a lot for you.
-
Ah, another snippet of information.
-
I noticed this wording in the release features but I cannot seem to find the Jagdpanther anywhere, in QBs or the editor, formations or single vehicles.
Am I imagining this?

And over how many years and game hours are those cost acumulated? Seriously, I buy food for some 500$ a month. I pay 150$ a month for cable/streaming tv services. Over the years CM costs are peanuts compared to what you get out of it.
Seriously, I wasn't complaining. Those costs are just what I have spent on CMx2 titles and that since CMBN came out. I only recently picked up Shock Force and Afghanistan.
That cost doesn't come close to the 60-70 odd board games I have in the garage with sadly no place to leave them set up.
-
Not complaining about the cost, just had never added it up. My rig to run it cost a lot more thsn that.
-
Maybe rhe next thing is the poor house. I just added up all of my CMx2 purchase costs, $562.00 including shipping. I do own them all but it builds up quickly. It's just a hobby, dear. Honest.

Combat Mission: Starship Troopers........
-
Goddamnit. I just lost another bet when you proved BF's customers do read. Man I am gonna avoid the ponies today.
Correct you can NEVER play a pbem with different versions.
Well hail yess, I kin reed reel gud, spel ok tu.
-
This was my first "not paying for this" post on BFC, but i feel with no scenarios 20 is just too much, but who knows maybe if i find a good video on how to make your own missions maybe i will get it then.. but i dont like quick battles in cm games so this pack would be useless to me sadly
But there are a lot of people who do make those missions. You won't be able to enjoy theirs without this.
An update on the update!

Yeah, right. But it will go to my phone, which will probably happen when I am away from the pc but I'll know I could.
