  1. "Wet Triangle" was designed by Frank "Franko" Radoslovich for CMBB and was one of the initial scenarios for ROW V.

"Sqeezing the Melon" was designed in CMAK for ROW IV by Jeff Weatherspoon and was one of the first round scenarios.

Unfortunately neither are available for download since the collapse of the first Scenario Depot but if you email me I will send them to you...

My email is in my profile.

  2. It's coming...

A change in my work arrangements and winter here has meant the base has progressed slowly as all carpentry must happen outside...

I won't be routing the base from one solid piece of oak, it is all Australian oak but the base is assembled with prerouted sides, probably more fancy but about half the cost to airmail. Airmail cost nearly as much as the total cost for the T-34 last time with the solid base.

    It's nearly done...

No changes to the tank itself, which is an excellent sign (bar the aerial, straight and true) and I must say it's been looking quite superb sitting on my scanner here and I've been enjoying it a little myself before it goes away... forever... :D

    Nearly there!

You will have your Tiger soon!

  3. Excellent write up! ...And your Moltke Bridge AAR is one of the best I've ever read! :D

T'was awkward transforming the bridge and the river for CM. In reality, the bridge lays diagonally across the river when all other landmarks are considered. Unfortunately the CMBB engine doesn't allow for diagonal bridges... so when considering the scale of other things and a need to adhere to the general lay of the land... there's always a lttle compromise!

    Great Stuff BigDuke!

I don't play CMBB, but in CMAK the default set-up zones are on the east edge for allies and on the west edge for the bad guys.

If you make a scenario with the sides inverted and use the map later in a QB, the AI controlled side will go berzerk.

You can solve it, by changing the orientation of the map with Pyewacket's map converter.

I'm having this issue with a Huge CMAK map for a QB at the moment.

I can change the orientation of the map with the map converter, the Allied units ALWAYS end up in the same spot regardless, even when I make those spots water obstacles...

After 4 hours of playing about nothing has solved the issue... :(

  5. Tiger Valley is not recommended for play against the AI, it was designed for the ROW Tournament and to be played between two people, either by PBEM or TCP. Game balance and playability has been entirely focused around this fact.

As Kingfish suggested, "put a human in charge of the Germans"

    ;)

  6. Here she is a Tiger I from the 501st as served in North Africa

This is an Academy Early Tiger with much scratch built stuff and some metal etched accessories plus special tracks.

Finished with Humbrol enamels, Tamiya acrylics / enamels and the Tamiya desert weathering kit, also a graphite pencil ;)

First couple of photos are with my wifes mobile phone, the others are with a buddies digital camera...

I still need to cut, route and varnish the base... but we're getting close now...
