  1. Recently I dug out my old copy of PG 1 and tried playing it on my XP machine...it just ran too damn fast...perhaps there is an emulator out there which would allow the game to be played properly...I had originally bought a 3DO game machine simply because of PG1...I should have kept that old game system just for PG1...

  2. So many forums have "post envy" among it's members.....glad it's not here....checking out posts totals is like taking a peek at the guy standing at the urinal next to you...for some of you, it's a necessary need....

I remember on the OOTP board, they revamped their forum which resulted in people losing hundreds of their post totals...you should have read the horror and outcry that many members posted when they saw thier numbers drop....it was pathetic....

  3. Ok...downsizing these ideas for a moment to something that is supposed to be in the works...when are we going to see the download for these new graphics that were incorporated into the European version of the game?... and, to those players who have seen these graphics, are they that much of an improvement either over the original or mod designs that are currently available?

  4. I play on my Sony Vaio laptop with the following settings....1024x768 and medium 16 bit color....what are your settings at?...if you have the ability to change your settings to mine, give it a shot...hope this helps...if you aren't sure how to change your settings, left click on the screen...select properties..click on settings...you will see where you can adjust screen resolution and color quality....once changed, the apply radio button should be active, click on it to change the settings

  5. Basically what Edwin is describing is Hearts of Iron...a game with a lot of "bells and whistles" but at its' heart, not a very good game. So, if you can combine the best elements of SC and HOI together, SC's turn based AI, and larger hex grid map and HOI's tech trees, production ques and visuals, ect, you might find the Rosetta stone for unlocking the design for a first class WWII sim.

  6. I think Hubert has mentioned that he is basically a one man operation so it cannot be expected that he will come up with a new game anytime soon..I admit to being spoiled by some other companies and unfairly apply the same here...I am a big fan of the baseball management sim, OUT OF THE PARK BASEBALL (OTTP5)..I have bought each version for the past 4 years and the designer Markus Heinsohn has always released the new version right before the baseball season...I have to learn that not all companies can work at the same pace...still a little bit of news wouldn't hurt... ;)
