I have to say crack falchimjager are the best infantry, I had a company hold a city agaisnt what appeared to be an entire russian batallion plus massive assault guns, armored cars and tanks. THese guys are fearless, rushing tanks, withstanding point blank assault gun blast in buildings, them popping up and mowing down commie infatry, I love em.

Ok, just had to let you all know, I just wasted my first t-72's with some german paratroops. One panzerfaust crew took out two tanks, they both drove by him hiding in a building where he was hiding, he popped up an POW, side shot and a rear shot, knocked out! captured crew. Then, a certain sgt Kruger took his half squad with rifles and SMG's, snuck around some buidlings and assaulted a tank with grenade bundles, imobilizing it! the german paratroops kick ass!

buy some live traps, capture them, place the trap at the tail pipe of your car, cover it with a blanket, and start the car, gas em', or take em to a local forest and let them go, or hire a porffesional trapper to do it.

Hello, I have seen some posts about movies, and I am assuming this means all the action phases strung together after a battle has been completed, then made available for viewing as a "movie" of all the action in one continous action phase, is this true? If so, where could I find some of these to view, and how would I do it? Thanks.

yes, I have had this happen, and it sucks!!!!!! a second by second countdown from 3500 seconds to watch a 60 sec movie clip is ridiculous~! Makes me not even want to play PBEM anymore, and that to bad, because it was very fun In the first post in this thread, it says if you leave you comp running for 45 min to an hour it will be OK< is this true? I ran the timer program mentioned and it says my comp has been up for 45 days, when really its only 45 minutes

Hi, I have come across a VERY annoying thing during PBEM. When I get a turn sent back to me, a little timer under the play button area for the action phase counts down from like 3500 all the way to zero, at a second per number, this is very annoying and frustrating, as it takes over an hour of pointless counting down to watch a 60 second movie, why is this happening and how can I stop it? Thanks for your help.

Sorry for being n ew, but are there planes in this game? There seems to be a lot of AA guns, what are they used for? I bet they kick ass against infantry.

I was wondering if the lynx 20mm gun was automatic, like a mchine gun, and if not, did the germans have any full auto 20mm tanks?

I was an Infantry man with the 10th mountain division in Southern Somalia in 1993, we saw lots of elephants. lots of little engagements that lasted 1 minute, some a liottle longer, a whole week in an embattled city caught in a civil war. It isnt the combat its the man, and he was affected by it. I love war games, the way I look at it, nothing I saw can compare to the Eastern front in 1941. Its always good to remember that no matter how hard its going, it has gone a lot harder for someone else.

hey now. SS 2 is not about tank rushes, sudden strike one was, granted, but SS 2 is a lot beter, more realistic. Not as realistic as CM but realistic enough for a fast paced battle with great graphics and gameplay, dont knock it till you tried it, and not just the crappy demo either. But really, I am looking forward to CMBB, just for the realism aspect.

Hello, I have rjust ordered the game and cant wait to play it, I have never player CMBO, but have player the CMBB demo, and it rocks. I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of or played Sudden Strike 2? It is really a great game. I recomend it. I have been playing for a long time (SUdden strike and SS Forever), and now I cantr wait to get my hands on this game, CMBB looks awsome!
