In Axis and allies the original Russia is getting owned. Axis must fortress Germany, go for Asia with Japan and then in one great offensive combine to crush Russia. For Allies it's all about americans and tag team tactics.

Look I know alot of you guys hang around on tiles-parties, petting eachothers backs, speaking admirable to one another "oh seamonkey I loved your marsch of 4th corps into the low countries in your AI game on normal setting"
Thing is if you are a player that like tiles over hexes there is something weird. Either you do it because
1. You think it look better then hexes. That is a stupid arguement, just turn of the grid.
2. You are tiles fetichist
3. You are 7-years old and think this is a civ game and not a wargame.

I said it before, Bill Runacre(alias Bill101) is a very good scenario maker. He made the Poland-scenario in WaW.

As Russia, just build ships. Ships ships ships. Mostly aircraft carriers, maybe a cruiser. Don't bother with subs, just carriers and transports. Battleships can be nice to sail to visit Casablanca in Africa, but you need no more than five or perhaps eight. If you can't afford it just delete all your armies and use the mmp for naval supremacy.

Denmark should surrender with german troops on the border. There should be no need to capture Copenhagen, IRL danes surrendered within 4 hours seeing luftwaffe circling over the capital.

I agree that the original favored allies, but only if the allied player had enough skill to make his three countries wortk together. Japan will always go for asia, pacific have no worth to it.
Axis and Allies Europe I have bought but did'nt play that much. But I found that Russia had serious problems against an all out axis drive.
