Thanks for the advice guys, i played him twice since i posted this (one win and one lose) on the first one, he sent some recon platoons and my light mg-42's cut them to pieces. so he assumed i had a majority of troops there (it was a good defensive posistion) he wasted his 8 inch shells on that, and his other spotter on a town (like one platoon in the town, not my causuties) the second one i lost because he had a freakin pershing and i had a pvz IV (guess who won)but i got so close to his troops he inflicted more causuties on himself w/ arty then me. thanks alot guys

Ok, my cousin and I always play. Im normally the axis, hes ofcourse, the allies (Americans 95% of the time) anyway, he ALWAYS has big guns, like 8inchers, and 14 naval cannons, and they always seem to take out a third of my force. if anyone has a good idead of how to counter that artillary assult, it would be VERY helpful. i was thinking of putting afew guys up front to make him thnk my front lines were there, when in fact there 250-500 meters away. what you think. i think hes being really cheap cause how many freakin times has 14 inch guns aiming at a company of germans in a battalion size fight. maybe im wrong. but any advise would be nice.

yea, this is the kinda wierd part, it says the default install is in CMBB, but he game is installed to Combat Missions 2....so i tied intalling it into combat mission 2, but no effect, i might just reinstall the whole game and mkae the directory CMBB, not Combat Misions 2

after i installed the 1.01v patch, i cant run the game, it says please insert the cd (yes the cd's in the) i can run the game through another path, and it doesnt say 1.01v on the bottem of the screen, please help

darn, i kinda wish it was in there, but it makes sense that one tank cant run over 12 troops with one pass

Can they, cause i tried this on an enemy sqaud of 4 people left over w/ a t-34 tank (no HE left). and wouldnt do anything, i literaly reversed and then fasted moved over then like 4 times. nothin happened, anyone know if theres like a chance of killing the squad?

in the manual it said that "unlike some games, units do not rise from one exp. level to another during battles or even operations" thats what its said, so were they just saying that to not make us complain about it., thats wierd they'd say that in the manual. its on pg 71 on my manual, but i bought mine at Compusa so it my be differant

i was playing this one staligrad mission, and i was trying to knock out a t-34 tanks that was 16m away, they had 3 grenades, but no other devise for knocking it out. 3 turns passed and they did nothing, they still had all 3 grenades, and i had the t-34 targeted, please help w/ advice to take em out with inf assulting tanks w/ grenades =). (i tried posting the screen shot but i dont know how to do the URL thing, new at that)

ok, ive been playing CMBO and CMBB for like 2 years now, and ive only played my cousin a handful of times, and im tierd of attacking the ai. im very curious how the other players out there are, and i read in a mag that this has a huge online community. i really wanna try play online but i have a few questions. what is the easiest why to startup? how do you find people to play, fast (i know of the opponent finder but thats it) how long does it normaly take to start a game, like getting it together (posting a message, and etc.) thanks alot, i would love to play some of you

I love this game, the only that makes the game less enjoyable, is when theres a group of enemy vehicles forming a nice colomn and getting jammed while my singal 75mm takes out like half before they get a chance to move forward. the infantry tactics seem ok, the defensive is great, but the vehical ai seems very stupid at times. i was wondering if a patch could come out and fix these issues alittle, or program them new tactics, or if thats out of the queston. thanks, love the game

how is asking for a file piracy. its not like you can play it with the demo, be sides, you could only go up to 1941 with the demo.

i was gonna do hat but i let my friend borrow it and he still has it. im not gonna see him for a week or so, but i cant wait that long, want to play bad. even one campaign will help tide me over till them

hey, great site again, i loved the real pictures that you had on there. i had never seen any of them before (ive seen LOTS) and im still very impressed with your collection. are they mostly real or are they repros? even if they are repros thats still some great things you got there like the PPSH-41 and the Panzerfaust. great stuff, keep up the good work. when SC comes out, i wanna play you haha
