deilthedog replied to Biltong's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
ok, one more question. i cant find the unite on the battlesheet you print out for 1941. on the battlesheet all the platoons have 3 squads in them but in the game all the platoons have 4. what is the name of the company you are supposed to start with? -

any SAS missions? (behind enemy lines)
deilthedog posted a topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
ive never seen any of these type of missions. the SAS played a big part in normandy where company sized elite units would set up camp behind enemy lines. they would be well supplied and would have access to armed vehicles. seems like a lot of great missions could be done here. -
how do you mean delay the program? i thought you just unzip and run it or am i wrong?

i read a thread which said the patch was complete. patches are normally released on mondays so logic tells me there was a good chance of seing it but maybe logic doesnt apply here. if its complete why no date?
-
will it be released today?

1- whats a cray? 2- about the briefings, there just seems to be a lot more detail in the majority of the BO missions, especially the downloaded ones. overall the game feels more like an expansion disc that a sequel. i dont see too many changes. all i see is another theatre which to me couldve been an expansion disc

i purchased CM2 yesterday. 1- im a bit disapointed with the mission briefings that come woth the game. they seem a bit lightweight compared to CMBO. 2- on the stalingrad operation im having extreme slow downs. when i bought medieval total war i had the same problems but after some tweaking it improved. anybody got advice on things i can try? 2- in the siberian devils operation the battle is 25 turns and for all those turns the AI never attacked. in the second battle they deployed all their troops practically right on top of me. is this a bug or is it normal behavior?
