  1. 8 Jun 41 England Awaits With the situation in the Balkans stabilised, the Axis powers are now free to turn their attentions to the great manipulator - England! With the lust of battle in their eyes and singing as they march, the Italian Army has struck across the Libyan border, and is driving deep into Egypt. Avanti! 2. 11 May 41 Yugoslavia Falls! Bulgaria Joins the Axis! Amidst cheering crowds, the Italian Army has liberated Belgrade. With the help of other Balkan countries, they are now working tirelessly to restore peace, order and the right to self determination in the former Yugoslavia. After a cordial meeting with the Fuhrer, King Boris III has pledged his support to the Axis humanitarian effort in the Balkans. Elsewhere, England licks her wounds in silence. Despite frantic attempts to drag the United States into her war, that country has declined the role of England's puppet. There is great admiration and sympathy in the USA for the Reich's earnest striving for peace. [ April 29, 2004, 12:36 AM: Message edited by: Archibald ]

  4. 13 Apr 41 Greece Falls! With the dash and vigour characteristic of Italian troops (and with Luftwaffe support), the remnants of the Greek Army have been smashed. An armistice has been signed, and the Italian Army is now working hard to repair the damages of war. To the north, the Royal Yugoslav Army has been utterly destroyed by a series of hammer blows from German, Hungarian and Rumanian forces. Belgrade has been declared an open city, and eagerly awaits it's liberators. [ April 27, 2004, 10:30 PM: Message edited by: Archibald ]

  6. 16 Mar 41 Dramatic Developments in the Balkans! Forced into action by numerous border incursions and the abominable treatment of the Italian population in Greece, Italy has acted to restore order to the Balkans. Fortunately, large scale amphibious exercises were taking place in the Aegean when the provocations of the Greek government finally became intolerable. Greeted as liberators, Italian forces, supported by the guns of the cruiser Fiume, landed from the sea and completely encircled Athens. The stunned defenders quickly surrendered. The Luftwaffe, based in Southern Italy, have given massive support to the Italian liberating forces. The Greek Armies on the Metaxas Line have been subjected to heavy bombing, which has shattered their ability to resist. Only scattered pockets of Greek resistance remain to be mopped up. Meanwhile in the artificial Versailles state of Yugoslavia, seditious elements led by their idiot young king have overthrown the legitimate government. German, Hungarian and Rumanian forces have been mobilized to assist in the crushing of the uprising. [ April 30, 2004, 09:03 PM: Message edited by: Archibald ]

  8. 2 Feb 41 An Important Message from our Sponsors German children: Europe's future inventors! While courageous men are fighting on the battlefields for the victory that will crown a happy and united Europe, the German home front is already working today on plans to benefit the freed peoples. The German youth is preparing for the great tasks of reconstruction and peace. They tinker and build models, engaging in guided and creative learning. Whether it is in shop class at school, evenings at home, or while participating in the youth organizations, UHU is everywhere. A special glue developed by the German firm Kunststoff-Chemie, it is in demand as a dependable product. [ April 27, 2004, 08:32 PM: Message edited by: Archibald ]

  20. 11 Aug 40 The Morning After the Battle Before Despite Churchill's bombast, the reality of England's position is beginning to sink in for the occupants of that beleagured isle. Bested in every contest with the Reich, England has no more cards to play. Germany's cards are however strong and many. Our patience is running out... 24. 14 Jul 40 A Last Appeal to Reason With their French dupes totally defeated in a lightning campaign, England now faces the unnerving prospect of having to fight the war she wanted using her own forces. In an eloquent address to the Reichstag, the Fuhrer has re-affirmed his commitment to peace in Europe. Now that the wrongs of Versailles have been righted, the German Reich is eager to live in harmony with the British Empire. Only a few minor details, such as colonial restitution and trade agreements, stand between the two great powers and an amicable peace. Blind to sense, Churchill has not even deigned to reply to the Fuhrer's magnaminous offer. Rather than trying to reason with a stubborn blowhard, Germany has chosen to address the English directly. Untold thousands of copies of the Fuhrer's speech have been dropped over England's cities. The only acknowledgement from the typically frivolous English press has been a report of a policeman in Salford being hit by a a bale of leaflets that failed to open. Their time for laughter will soon be at an end... [ April 28, 2004, 08:54 AM: Message edited by: Archibald ]
