  1. Why diss Patton?

He always got the job done (what ever the task).

Understand that we as Americans would go into battle willingly for such a leader, and his name was Blood & Guts!!!

You know you are going to give it all you got when in battle with him, as well the winning side!

Did he not go behind enemy lines to rescue is son from a German prison camp!

It would seem we got sidetracked from the original post.

I would only care too belong to the one that mattered most...with Jesus in the end Battle!!!

I am 43 years old and I have gone this long without killing. I do not think I would like to kill anybody. It is my guess, there is some sort of curse that belongs to it.

Of course Jericho would be another, would not have to do much but march around listening to the trumpet sound! I am sure it sounded like nothing else.

Napoleonic War seemed like a gentlemen's war, maybe with Napoleon or even Nelson, but being that I do not think there be much rape and pillage on the sea I would stand with Napoleon and go with the spoils of war (Pillage the women and rape the lands).

Of course I must consider the battle with the bare breasted women who beat the romans?

would not matter witch side I was on.

  2. Nobody likes getting Cheesed in any game! Some of the best players out there are cheesers.

And nobody likes being called a Cheater!

    Make your own rules.

Play only TCP/IP or no FOW on all PBEM games or play, just to have fun.

You telling me you can't beat a cheater?

Would you rather Holler and scream Cheater! Cheater!! or would you like to just play the game (knowing you are just killing time anyway) and try to win?

Don't play the AI it cheats too!

No quitting no yelling no crying, just play the game.

    Have fun :D

    Napoleon was after Moscow.

And you'll see that it was not the only time in history their capitals were taken and they fought back, eventually prevailing.

They are a though people them Russians.

Anyways, the main point is that it is plain specualtion if it would have been a bad thing or turned around as a propaganda against Germany or something else. Too many what ifs.

    L

Oddly enough, I do not think Napoleon was ever 'after' Moscow.

His aim was to have them beat long before even thinking of trekking all the way to Moscow.

Just so happens that the Russians wanted to avoid battle and kept falling back making Napoleon dependent on long supply lines.

He marched into the Capital (spiritual capital of Russia) because he thought it would be a good place to rest his troops.

Once in Moscow he thought Russia would surrender. While entering into Russia he never thought, if I could only get to moscow this would be all over.

Meaning he had no expectation of marching to moscow.

  4. What is this 100 Questions? A year ago, back in April, I predicted 1 year. I seem to have hit it on the month, not sure what Day it was that I posted.

Looks like my prediction would be as good as theirs, and they stopped giving any more (predictions) out.

So ,Being that their last prediction was Early April (if I am not mistaken), it would seem to line up with my own.

So, all's you do is, Go back and see when I posted, and you will find your answer. :D

    That's the best I can do! ;)

Strategic command don't fail me now!

  5. Don't be foolish Karl! Do you expect us to believe that you will not pick up SC2 or even play it? Get real you geek! We all know that anybody who played SC will definitely play SC2.

who are you trying to kid?

You are already an owned man!

P.S. If you are not participating in SC multi-player games you are not much good to anybody here.

    Later dates tongue.gif

Here, alas, he is so far off kilter

    I suspect he's been mesmerized

    By Dionysus - prowling now

    fischkopf is a little closer

To the truth of it.

    Some interesting testing going on;

    Things are falling into place.

The Center is really going to... hold.

Time is synchronized - as old, in Space. </font>

  7. Hexes, Hexes! We are way beyond Hexes!! It tis a silly issue.

I Don't play War games unless I have my Hexes :( What the Fuznuck?

My biggest concerne would be how the Multi player will work?

There are few Muliti-player games that run smooth from the outset (new game)

Of course I will buy the Game, Maybe A year after it comes out so as they can work out the corks.

We all have our doubts. I would believe that anybody who has played SC will buy SC2.

  8. It would be cool to see SC2 get 'creative' With the Allied System; Having an Option to change password would allow all kinds of variables to enter into (tournament) play.

Most likely, it will leave an opening to kick a fellow player out of the game.

Question; Would it be possible to make strategic command into a three or four player game?

If not, I would like to see games like Hellraiser & Liam vs Rambo & Terif!

Divide the game into two half's and have one take the first half and the other finish the game in the second half.

Why not? this might help too chose who you might want your Allies to be in SC2

Just "imagine", All the bickering and fighting!

It might keep us going until SC2 comes out tongue.gif

I think Having to deal with Allies is going to make SC2 a fun Game :D

    LOL.

    Well,

We've had a lot of sound,

Down on the ground - where them Sherman tracks

    Stretch so straight and true,

    So,

    Let's do... a bird's eye view?

    Were Patton around now,

He'd be apologizin' all over the place!

Ayup, 'til 'e was red, white,

    And blue, in the face.

As 'e labors over the stove, sure!

He'd be... some sort of scullery Chef, yep,

On this here modern-day Ship of State,

    Barefoot in that kitchen mess,

    Cookin' up a batch

Right from... cut, scat & scratch,

    O a veritable scalding! cauldron

    Of... chicken-hawk stew.

And that stew - mmm, mmm O Boy!

    Served on blood red plates,

    Made in... bloodless red states,

    With wry little pictures adorned

All around - the edge, why - it's!

    Some biblical Lion!

    Jaws a'prised wide!

    Wit' these fleecy hind-quarters

    A'hangin' from - lip & ledge

Of... ancient fangs, glistened in grease!

    And,

As you sup Polo Pat's patented blend,

You'll have somethin' to do O Lord yes!

You can scratch them lion & lamb emblems

    Wit' yer fingernail,

Should you choose, and stir the debris

Right in with the... poor-boy gravy!

(... hey Joe! Where you goin'

with that gun in yer hand?, say, hey Joe,

    ain't this new day - sloppy-crazy, man!)

Yep, were Patton around these parts now,

Sure enough, ol' Joe, he'd be a'goin strong!

    Cookin' up fresh, and endless

    Batches of... chicken-hawk stew,

    All the long night long!

(... hey you Joe! What these... entrails mean?

    I mean, jeeez, it's indicatin'

    somethin'... kinda strange,

    ain't it... man?) </font>
