i like the fact that everything is pre distributed, i think that will very well get rid of the gaminess. also like the fact that it won't be huge slugfests. makes me feel totally more confident knowing i won't have to be micromanaging all over the battlefield. sheesh, i can't wait! lol!

I just wanted to take a second to thank all the modders and scenerio designers out there. I use many different mods by all kinds of people and have many downloaded scenerios on my machine as well. Just wanted to throw out a huge thanks to all you guys, the depth and dimension you have added to this game is incredible. Stand alone, it is incredible but with all the little tweaks this game becomes everything i have always looked for in a great war game. Wanted to let you all know that all your work is very appreciated. Just thought i should throw my two cents in. You all rock. Thanks.

Personally, i would love to see a pacific campaign. CC never did it, and now it doesn't seem we will see one here either. My Grandfather was one of Merrill's Marauder. He won two bronze stars and a purple heart in Burma after being involved in the Guadalcanal campaign. How awesome it would be to honor him by fighting battles he was involved in!!! Just a little thought of mine.

i can remember two occasions when internal flaking has resulted in a casualty. both times it was only one casualty, and the tanks continued on. i believe they were shocked for a turn but that is all.

[curious about motorized infantry tactics]

hello all, this is my first post. got the game a few weeks ago, can't believe i hadn't heard about it sooner. i'm very into computer wargaming and think i keep up but i guess this one blew over me. anyhow, this is by far and away the most incredible war game by miles. so, onto my topic. how do you employ motorized infantry, or shall i rephrase and say what is the most effective way of using them. my tactics are sound pretty much with regular infantry but i always feel i should be maybe doing something special with them. i mean there doesn't seem to be a point really when the first thing i do is disembark them to avoid losing big chunks of them in case of a vehicle hit, and then pretty much fan out and use them as normal infantry. i like to keep a platoon in reserve mounted so i can get them to a hot spot right quick if needed but sometimes this too also leads to many and quick casualties from a vehicle hit. just curious and any info will be appreciated. also curious too on the german and or american doctrine on motorized infantry. absolutely love this game and can't get enough! thanks in advance.
