  1. Great idea-- the week seems well thought out. I'd be interested on how many girls sign up and how they do. From my days teaching military history at West Point with the first women to attend, I found them to be rather skittish of participating in similar activities. I hope the times have changed.
  2. I the link to the Scenario Depot is broken. Is the site still active? moved elsewhere?
  3. Scooby, I am a beta tester and I don't have any trouble running it on my P3 500. I think you will be okay. What is your graphic card?
  4. MrSpkr-- you are a credit to your profession. You are welcome anytime to return to the scene of your triumphs and I'd hope that we'd be able to exchange volleys of tank fire across the steppes sometime soon. BTW-- you guys left some of the fruit pizza behind but I took care of that oversight <grin>
  5. Actually, the group of CMBO/CMBB fans were housebroken and a deplight to host. We gave the AI a good work out as well as several hot-seat games. QBs and scenarios were sampled and I especially enjoyed the, "ooOOOOO, aahhhhh" effect as the visual touches were discovered as well as many of the aspects on so many of the collective "wish list" of features.
  6. Alan, I am only 90 miles from Houston-- hope you find a ride.
  7. Any more coming? I have about four-- got to establish logistics plan for pizza, beer, bar-b-que, etc.
  8. Wolfpack-- <checking my calendar> I travel quite a bit-- e-mail with the days between now and when you leave and lets see if we can work something out.
  9. Not to worry, I'm not an Aggie. heheheh Yup, there are quite a few beer joints in town, but there are still 17,000 Aggies here in sumnmer school. The drive is more like 3 to 3 1/2 hours depending on where in Dallas you live. E-mail for address and driving directions.
  10. For those willing and able to endure the heat of Central Texas, I have been granted permission to host a demo of the current beta build of CMBB. Date is scheduled for Saturday, July 27. I live in the Bryan/College Station area and will provide driving directions for those who are interested. Please e-mail me at: olderpaladin@hotmail.com Check all weapons at the door.
