bassicly wait for your reinforcements before trying anything. Then get all 6 shermans to crest the little hill in the los of the at bunker. u will get first shot and all 6 shermans fire ure almost sure to cause a knock out or crew casuallty. then roll em' down the lane with engineers in front of them scanning for mines. then push ALL ure infantry into the woods and out the other side the enemy tank shouldn't cause much bother.

I assume ure talking about some kind of normandy beach scenario if so where can i get a piece of it!!!??/ :confused:

regarding my questions 1.it looks loke its sitting to low to be a AAA gun or a flak one. but I have just now seen a picture of a german infantryman standing about 20 meters from a gun-on the front line-which looks remarkably similar but the picture is slightly blurred so I can't be sure if it's at or not. if it could be used in any role including indirect fire. Does this mean it could take both fixed and bagged amunnition? 2.is the classification for a gun that it takes fixed ammunition or that it fires in a flatish trajectory and only when it has direct los to the target. 3.I never said the sexton and the hummel had mg mountings. And I can understand the armor on them all. I can also understand the 50 on the sexton for use against infantry if it was right near the front line (was it really close enough to encounter enemy squads) last thing PLEASE if you know of any books or sites about artillery/mortars please tell me!

My opinion is that it really just depends on which areas of the game you like. if you like artillery go with brittish they get it a bit cheaper and i think its a bit more accurate (no idea how) but the americans have superior infantry. in terms of tanks its pretty even the americans have the very well equiped sherman the brittish the tasty 95mm churchill. However I prefer playing as the germans BY FAR the best infantry and armour (funny that, seeing as I'm english myself and I'm actually required to hate everyone whose not brittish)

I have a problem. I bought a model of an 88 mm artillery piece from a magazine. Nwow i thought by artillery they meant indirect fire from behind lines using a spotter type artillery. Untill a friend pointed out artillery could be anything from an anti-tank to what I was actually talking about. Now the gun is identical to the pak 88mm in c-mission. Except it is minus the face shield. that is what made me think it was indirect fire, as without a face shield even enemy rifle fire would cause the cre to abandon their gun. so what is it? Another question. In a book I saw a picture of a stug 3 it said " the stug 3 assualt gun was a popular infantry support self propelled gun" I was wondering does this make all AFV's self propelled guns? or what please tell. And my final question. why does the m7 priest have a 50. cal (and why is it armoured) mounted on it if it was meant to be in the indirect fire role up to 1 mile behind the front. Likewise for the brittish sexton and the german hummel These may seem like dumb questions but I keep getting friggin' contradictory information from books. come to think of it anybody no of any good books about mortars

look, as far as i know i am running it off my computer i mean i did the full install, does it count as running it off the cd if you leave the cd in it's drive? arrrrgg it's driven' me up the wall here!

accordin' to yonder manual when u save in the game (e.g a battle) then the save should appear at the top of the list of scenarios, guess what, it doesn't. i was in some scenario when 2 panthers ragg'd it over the hill i had 4 shermans targeting them so i went "mmmmm i think i need to save" i did this and started the turn the 2 pnthers UTTERLY RAPED me killin all 4 tanks and about 14 infantry so i thinks time to reload. i go back to the scenarios screen but there's no save there. i've tried many times since and it still dont work any suggestions???

that cat i shot sure forgot to use tactics it forgot to cover its right flank upper head. cos thats why my shot came from upper house window in the head,with a 22. bye bye kitty, ure my pikachu

i know its derived from a european basis and i'm not trying to deny that in fact i'm rather proud of it GERMANS ROCK i'm not actually a german but i respect em' i have NEVER met an impolite german and if my language is half from theirs i aint complaining :cool: p.s actually it was derived from a cross beetween ancient english tounge and german when ceaser left he actually transported german tribes over here for a reason which is still not known (but is believed he wanted to civilise the unruly brits) :eek:

im getting tvery tired off cheeky yanks calling us poms or limey's yes i just called them yanks but thats the first time i've done it in years it seems like it's okay for the YANKS to call us anything they like and when we get pissed off no-one understands. oh determinant i wouldn't be too afraid of modern american squads the tend to either turn their best weaponry on themselves or shoot at the sky like it just smaked em' inna gob ( any europeans agree) then drop me a line
