  1. You are correct, although BTS have talked about adding user made maps to the QB facility. Saying that various people, including myself, use the Scenario Editor instead of the QB. Obviously you must be able to trust your fellow players (unless you get a third party to do it for you). This gives you the following adavantage. User created maps. Unrestricted force combination/points (Although it is best to agree this before hand!). The ability to remove VL flags or have user defined ones. Reinforcements! etc, etc....

The ultimate MOD: an open ended user-edited terrain feature! Thing of all the beauties we could come up with: Airport hangers Waterfalls Eiffel Tower hospital tunnel the possibilities are endless... Not that I like to be a stick-in-the-mud. But this idea could/would lead to so many different variations to terrain. This in turn would cause major problems while playing PBEMS as opposing players have different data regarding terrain. BTS have already stated they do not like the idea on ADD-ONS which I think this would have the same result.
  3. Thanks for the advice. I am having alot of problems with my present MOBO, so will need to update sooner than later. Thanks again Adrian
  4. I presently have a AMD K6 450mhz (P5A mobo) with 128 RAM and Geforce 2 MX card. With this system I have no problems playing the run-0f-the-mill QB game of scenario. However, I am play testing a number of large games with over 15,000pts total for both side and although the Geforce handles the graphics well enough the number crutching between movies can take sometime. Thus: If I upgrade to a 900/1 GIG Athlon would this improve matters. I have also a compatibility problem between the Geforce and my P5A mobo. I have also heard there are problems with VIA chipset mobo's and wonder if these can easily be overcome (Most Anthlon mobo are VIA chipsets) Thanks in advance Adrian
  5. I am having freezing problems with my Geforce 2MX card, but this is caused by in-compatibility with my motherboard and the latest drivers (I have a Socket 7 MB), and not the game itself. Do you have freezing problems with other 3D games, if so you may want to check out this site: - http://www.geforcefaq.com/#hw:gef:troub:inst:ss7.
  6. Firstly I agree with the above as these would add to the flexibility of scenario design. I would also like the ability to record passwords while performing a Tournament Save.
