  1. Muzzle brakes reduce recoil by redirecting exiting gasses. The same is true for small arms. My grandpa's automatic 12ga duck gun has a huge muzzle brake on it. They (on artillery) actually kick up more dust than guns without muzzle brakes. Galland
  2. CM2: Soviet Meatgrinder has a nice ring to it. Or they could just call it Russian Front. Anyone who has seen an episode of Hoagan's Heroes knows what that is. Flak [This message has been edited by flakwagen (edited 03-26-2001).]
  3. How about Viet Nam? I'd love to see a 'Nam version of CM sometime in the future. It would be interesting to see how you would handle helicopters, Agent orange and thick jungle warfare in general. I imagine it would also be a challenge to accurately portray the Viet Cong and Viet Minh armies. Galland ------------------
  4. I think they were referring to our old anti-tank weapons as opposed to tank vs. tank warfare. A lot of equipment used in Korea was left over from WW2. Heck, even some of the food was left over from WW2. After WW2 the world had a military inventory surplus of epic proportions. Unfortunately the U.S. chose to keep using a few things that were obsolete by the time Korea rolled around. ------------------
  5. I downloaded the demo from www.3dfiles.com. The rest is history.
