You HAVE Aussies and New Zealanders in CMAK.
We Dutchmen,Belgiums, Norwegians,Sweeds(? how do you spell that)Irish,Spanish etc etc are ALWAYS playing with foreign armies.

I installed the mod, but it seems the modded CMBB rocky files are even harder to spot in the desert because they are more white.
In Russia or Italian scenario's that will work, but in desert we need a bit darker rocky files to get them better spotted.

I want to copy my "rocky" mod files to my CMAK folder but i dont know the bmp numbers.
Who can help me ??
btw has anybody a list of all files with the bmp numbers ?

One remark, they are sharpshooters, not snipers.
AFAIK they have normal rifles,without scopes, but they are excellent shots and are very good in spotting and shooting up tank commanders like the crack sharpshooter in the CMAK demo proved ( i think i lost 4 or 5 tankcommanders )

Ineresting Hans,
Yesterday i had a quick look at the map, today i want to start with the battle.
If i recall ok, the inf. is on one side of the fort, all the tanks on the other side ?
I think i change the setup
I dont know where the mines are, so i think its a gamble on the first try ? Cool, i hope i guess good hehe

Quick question: I want to play it as Allied attacker offcourse, should i give the A.I. the freedom to place units at will or as scenario default ??
btw i miss this often in the scenario info !

I would like to see we keep at least the front hull mg, gun damage can be busted optics or something the like which affects shooting the GUN.

I had the same problem with English 3 in mtr FO (radio ) yesterday in a QB.
The FO would not embark on vehicles.

We need more info:
In what terrain were the squads?
Were they moving and with what ccmmand, move,advance etc. ?
Were they under command of HQ and had the HQ any morale bonus?
I did a QB with British yesterday (Allied probe), they advanced under cover of 2 heavy guns and all was fine until they moved over a ridge and were ambushed by the Germans.
(Edit: it was a QB vs the A.I. and i was surprised the AI did set up a very good ambush position !!! )
My Valentine tanks(i think) had no HE shells but the mg's did a good job, lost some tanks to a very nasty 20 mm heavy anti tank rifle though.
Key word is combined arms, without any (heavy) support weapons your infantery is toast quickly when they are moving and the enemy are not.
I noticed in CMAK the enemy country marker of units who are hiding are disappearing quickly, but that does not mean they are not there.
Keep area firing on suspecting spots!
Also, you cant see in CMAK on which units they enemy units are firing, only by following tracers you can try to find out.

00005000.wav is corrupted with my CMAK installation.
I tried several installs in various ways.
Would somebody please host the wav file for me?
Its about 9 mb large.
You can host it on a webspace for me or by using a small program like: File Share

Yep, im shure the carrier was active and had no passengers allready in.
When i gave command to a bren unit to embark, it worked ok.
Edit: The FO wont embark on tanks too.
The FO is tiring, maybe that has something to do with it ??

I tried to embark my English 3 inch mortar FO into an universal carrier, but it wont work.
The FO HAS radio.
I recall vaguely somebody posted this before?? but im not shure so i post it anyway.

Update:
I tried to do a re-install on my second drive, a DVD burner.
Unpacking went OK this time, no messanges BUT...
while installing i got several DOS boxes at the end with obscure messages about several .wav files.
After i closed all the boxes the installation ended, the re-install just skipped the wav files (which i allready had) but i still missing the 00005000.wav offcourse.

Roger,i think its realistic too.
Im gonna check if this works too with mg's, giving area target at advancing tanks to suppress the following inf. while dust is blocking LOS.

2 other dust cloud related observations:
When you keep the thin armored vehicles behind the heavy ones, the dust clouds of the heavy ones can protect them by blocking los.
When you keep the inf. behind the tanks, the dust cloud protect them also a bit by blocking los.
