I have an Asus card, but i dont think that makes much difference.
For CM i use 4x AA and 2x AF

I also have the 5900 card 128mb.
In CM i have about the same performance compared with my older drivers (very good)
With Call of Duty, i have now far better performance !
Gurra, did you benchmark before and after the driver update ?
If the benchmark after the update give a far lower number, something went wrong maybe.

Installed the 56.55 too and im pleased with them.
Its great to play CM without alt tabbing all the time.
In 3dMark 2003 i scored 5596, with my last drivers 52.16 i had 4724 so a nice improvement !
I use 4x AA and 2x AF btw in most games btw.

Scenario's > 40 turns give often problems with ammo, normally the inf. would get new ammo, but in CM we have no re-supplies.
In operations you can solve that problem.

There is such a thing actually for CMBB, look
The idea was to show all mods for CMBB,(look in the CMBO section of the mod catalog ), but because all mods now are in the CM Mod Database , it was not really important any more.
But it shows good all the units with a picture.
This would be very nice to have for CMAK too, but who will spend such an amount of time in it.

I have IL-2 too, and groundtargets are easy to see yes, but its NOT easy to see if they are Russian or German ( at least not when you have icons off )
In the scenario above, the target whas the Panther for the P47.
After the Panther was killed, imho the P47 should have gone away for other juicy targets, but he stayed to bomb infantery what is not his normal target i think.
Probably that is not easy to code, maybe and im shure in next CM version we will see improvement in this matter.

My Shermans killed the Panther ( the Panther moved without being attacked, he got several flank hits and a few zook hits hehe ), after that the P47 thought: I HAVE to drop my eggs somewhere.....lemme see......ah...those black dots look German enough....BOMBS AWAY !!!!

Hi Strangeway, welcome to the CM forum.
100 % cpu usage seems normal, even with my Pentium 2.8 Ghz, i see up to 75 % usage of CPU !!!
CMBB has high resolution graphics, CMBO low resolution, that can explain a worse performance in CMBB.
Ill advice to turn off trees (shift T) and the terrain elements (shift N), also try a different horizon range (shift H)

Quick solution could be a "warning" text pop-up the strike will be "blind" due to broken LOS ?
I mean the CM "engine" has obviously seen there was a moment of no LOS to the target, but i think its impossible for a player to notice that in most cases ( im not gonna track every second behind the FO on level 1 to watch if there is maybe a moment of broken LOS due to smoke)
