Warning - overload! Too much, don't know how to reponsd.
Yes Joshik, I like the idea.
Looks good Yank, let's have it!
There you go again Maximus, cutting into our gaming time by making us download another of Fernando's h.o.f., gone gold before released, mods.
Gordon: It's difficult to find winter mods better than your's. You probably live in some sub-tropical paradise and are drinking a cold one to inspire your mods.

Monty frequently hunted with the English FoxHun.
Fyi, I saw this weekend there is a Vet group looking to raise money and get necessary approvals to build a memorial near the Mall to dogs that served with US forces in various wars. There was also a neat article in Parade magazine about two months ago.
Man's best friend saved quite a few GI lives!

Mike: Try seeing if Manx has Tiger's address. Manx is at: manx@combat-missions.net. 90% of Tiger's stuff is on Manx's site.
-
Mike:
I look at the jpeg for a file of that same name. It looks like Tiger's work. I don't have a readme file for that. It either didn't exist or I deleted it.

Max:
Are we going to see a fire truck red version with twin chrome exhausts?

You sure that's him? He doesn't look a damn thing like Geroge C. Scott.
Fyi, Sinpoet had a nice George C. Scott portrait on CMHQ. Also, if you go to Last Defense you'll find a brown tanker helmet mod that I modeled after the football-tanker type helmet.
Lastly, did you know the the Lipizzaner Stallions were surrendered / turned over to Patton's army during the war. There's some really neat photos in Vienna of Patton's trucks transporting the horses and being escorted by some armor.

A Lipizzaner and a King Tiger - an amazing combination caught together in the same photo- http://9sshohenstaufen.com/VeteranSection.html

Max: Nice mod. As always, I've enjoyed your work.
Tiger: I regret to hear you're hanging up your shoes. However, "Be Like Mike", and you too can come out of retirement. We will all be counting the days and watching.
BTS: Hurry up, we need a big carrot to lure him back.

Heck, you mean to tell me there's other computer games? WHY?
Actually, COmputer Gaming World has been sending me a free subscription for well over a year now trying to convert me. Games like earthQuake, half-dead, never never land, ...
It ain't working; since taking a leap of faith and buying CM I haven't bought another game.
So the answer to question is no.

To all you RD country/state teams, as a member of the Mass Minutemen, I'm available for a challenge. Let me know.
Congrats M.Bates.

<BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>
A) The reason I have not had time to update the site is that I have been hard at work, designing the in-game interface for Combat Mission 2.
My only (minor) regret is that my then-girlfriend and now-wife was not there at the time I got the mail, so I couldn't share that super happy moment with her.
C) So, I don't know if those exploding dogs y'all keep raving about are in the game. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
Re. A) Congrats! Good news.
Re.
Just as well, she shouldn't know your working on it because she will probably curtail the time you put into it. You're now married man, smarten up or you're doomed. Before you know it, you'll have more honeydo's on your hands than you know.
Re. C) If you're asked to include a new "fetch" command in your orders clipboard than you'll know there will be four legged, tail wagging, exploding tank destroyers.
Congrats again. Look forward to seeing your future interface.

Me thinks he lives in a museum somewheres and has a pair of calipers in one hand and a mouse in the other. Look at that detail!
Damn that looks so real.
Is this also going to be offered in bi / tri color scheme?

pakfan:
I like the bunker. However, I can't seem to download it. When I click on it, I get no download dialogue only screwed up text/code.
Not you buttons are extremely difficult for me to click as it appears the active part of the button is reduced to a single thin line at the lower border of the button.
Is it just me?
-
I like the new scheme as well as the old one. Keep at it. Looks like you're working hard at it.
-
bump - how's this one shaping up Pud? You didn't give up, did you?
-
Well Gustav, if you bought yourself a nice laptop you'd be able to play CM wherever that skiff of yours takes you. Although it will cost you more than $20.
Hurry back. I'll throw the new webmaster a fish now and then.
See ya

Very nice. Wish I had those last for my last PBEM, it sure would have made that artillery dropping on my head a much more enjoyable experience.

SuperTed:
I've worn holes in my shoes running up and down the sidewalk this weekend. I'm outta here.
I've learned my lesson and Forward Observer has been bookmarked.
Thanks.

The property value in that neighborhood just went down.
Why not make the soldier available as an alternate bitmap?
-
Nice, however the door looks like it was recently purchased from Hardware-Fixer-Upper-R-Us. The brass handle and lockset shine tooooo much. Again, looks good.

This is one weekend I'm going to encourage the wife to go out shop.
Hopefully it'll keep her busy while I check out what this sidewalk sale is all about.
-
bump - need to keep this one warm.
-
Keep at it, it's looking good. I assume your going to add the engine grill on the back.
The German cross looks like it set too far back on the side hull.
Definitely adjust the saturation.

Maximus:
Fyi, you are also using my outdated, unhistorical (see that routed grip) Lee Enfield. A better version is available at Manx's place. Of course you'll have to tear that mod apart and find it as it's packaged for the ModManager and we all know what you think of the MM.
-
Maximus:
Can you turn the sleeves up and give them some of Bermuda shorts? Maybe give their skin a real nice tan too. Am I obnoxious yet?
