  1. Hi Japanzer - san!

Yes, you are right, in Germany we use "," instead of "."

However, when I start up the export tool, I get an error message for Line 239 that's look like that when I open it with the text editor:

    function SaveFileName(ƒZ[ƒu–¼, Šg’£Žq) // Šg’£Žq‚Í.‚ð‰Á‚¦‚邱‚ÆB
I changed the filename variable ƒZ[ƒu–¼ into fileLeft and Šg’£Žq into fileRight in the whole script to correct that problem.

Then I end with another error message:

    Definition is wrong: 0,3

    at line 32: SLEEP (3/10)

Seems that the sleep command has a general problem with floating-point numbers for me, since the problem disappears when I change the command to sleep(0) or any other integer !

Maybe I use the wrong version of UWSC? Unfortunately, most of the site is in Japanese.

  2. Here ya go...It's the entire mod (just in case). Remember, you can have as many explosions as you like in game by renaming them. Example: explosion a o, explosion a 1, explosion a 2 etc. That's what I do in my games to give lots of variety...I especially like my grenade explosion sounds.

Oh, and you might want to check each folder cause there are explosion files throughout.

    Have fun.

    Mord.

I didn't knew that this works on all mods, I just use it for uniforms...
  3. First let me explain, i hate quick battles because they are normaly in my opinion like capture the flag type battles, so what i did was make my own map, set proper objectives, and setup zones in editor (all the usual things except choosing troops) then rename file to make it into a quick battle map and place it in the quick battle folder. then i start it up letting both sides see map preview (only problem i found was that setup zones for german forces did not show up in preview on german side but solved by choosing any troops and entering set up phase to see setup zones, then exiting and restarting to choose troops.)

i set to huge battle so you get most points to purchase troops with and set to max time (which is 2 hours) can this please be increased ? in future patches.

it may sound a complicated way of setting up battle but it gives a whole new dimention to pbem play as you get to see objectives and then also get to chose your own troops for the battle.

something a normal game does not have, so it is a mix between a good battle map and being able to chose troops like quick battle.

Thanks again to bfc for a epic game and a fully functional quick battle system :)

Sorry, I don't get it - what is the difference to a 'normal' quick battle??
  4. Yes, CMBN allows this, but it maybe necessary to make some changes manually. This is rather simple to do. As example, the original file for a german officer uniform is "german-officer-uniform-m43.bmp". If you now have downloaded a mod for the officer uniform, you name the second file "german-officer-uniform-m43 2.bmp", the next file "german-officer-uniform-m43 3.bmp"...

Works for all German uniforms, but I'm not sure about the upper limit. Double-digits shall be possible, but I have not tested on my own.

  5. I have this idea in my mind for a while now, it's about a different way to play H2H quickbattles. I guess it is best if you simply take look on the page that I have prepared: http://petzi-fr.bplaced.net/CMx2Mods/cmbn_maps.php

I would be pleased if of share your thoughts with me about out. Playtesting results would be very welcome, too, since I'm not sure if the balancing will be okay without terraine objectives. There's is package of maps downloadable on the bottom of the page!
