  1. Its just too bad that they used the title of Squad Leader on a game that they know won't resemble the renown board series. CM is obviously the closet you can get to the concept of the board game.
  2. I was in a Avalon Hill chatroom trying to see if there was any plans on getting the Squad Leader game made into a computer game as I once heard it had been planned. Well, CM was mentioned as the best bet so I tracked it down. To say the least, I am a very happy camper!

I had a this problem a few times with the large buildings not realizing each small building is independant of the adjacent building even though it clearly should be one large building(hotel, headquarters). I'll have a machine gun crew in the building having to rout of the building right in front of tank or infantry instead of being able to enter farther in the building. In defending large buidlings, I now have to make sure they have another route of retreat even though the large buildings which aren't necessarily supposed to be small individual buildings. Would it be difficult to make walls coded as passable/unpassable with adjacent buildings?
  4. I have the speakers which have a headphone jack on the front. The headphones override the speaker and I use just a regular walkman phones. Since I only usually get to play CM late at night after everyone's in bed it works out well. Except I seem to forget I can still be heard. "*#&%*! Where did that shell come from?"
  5. I would prefer the additional FOW. Nothing worse than when your tanks are hit from across the map and your opponent knows he got a kill and moves onto the next nearby target without getting a brewed up vehicle.(personal experience) Question: How would this affect the AI? Would the AI need to be tweaked so it doesn't keep shelling a vehicle because it doesn't know the poor thing's dead?
