  1. Dr. Brian, in looking at your posts, I cannot help but notice your utter insolence. Maybe you have not noticed my name yet: the "Ghengis", although spelled wrong, represents my admiration of the warlord who was one of the most oppressive and intolerable leader of all time. By no means am I saying that I love raping, pillaging, and plundering things. For some reason I think that I just like Mr. Kahn. I have yet to figure out this reason. Anyway, my point is not only pointing out your tunnel vision (in picking out a RACE of people and hating them), but also your tunnel vision in picking out the German people as your sole area of attack. I personally have admired the German people because for one, I am part German. Ironically, I am getting persecuted because of that. Also, the German people, as a nation, are extremely bright people. Where do the world's best engineers and physicists come from? You got it, Germany! Because of my analytical nature, I admire this style of living which stresses effeciency and science over flexibility and liberal arts. Anyway Dr. Brian, I would imagine that you are some crappy liberal arts teacher at some worthless liberal arts college who likes to say (or generalize) that everyone who generalizes is a horrible person. (Notice the oxy-moronic nature of that statement.) Hurry up and go vote for Algore, Dr. Brian.
  2. lol, he he thank you man! but P.S., I am not in kindergarden.
  3. Amen brother, CMII will be cool, but i need to finish playing all the cm1 scenarios before I jump the gun on that one. But a german/russian front sounds like great times, I like killing rooskies.
  4. I am looking for an opponent in CM thats decent but not a pro or anything, I do not know of any other way to get an opponent other than this, because my uncle is going to buy the game, but he is a bum, and for some reason he has to read all billion of the exemplary reviews before he purchases Combat mission. Reply if interested.
  5. Thanks for input so far, but, Michael emrys, did you help design the game? Or is that the Steve and Charles that KwazyDog was talking about? Did they help make the game? And also, how do you graduate from the rank of junior member to regular member? I want to graduate! And what is the BTS and BBS achronyms that are being used? I think I also saw a CTS, somewhere or another... I am sorry to be annoying as I can imagine myself being right now, but one more question: Does Battlefront trade in any markets (like Nasdaq, NYSE, S&P 500, etc...)? If so, whats the ticker symbol because I am buying all the stock.
  6. Yes this is a basic question and I am very new, but I will ask... All of you guys who have been around the block, and know what your doing in terms of "being fans"; how have you been this dedicated when battlefront has just recently become a big thing? I do not doubt your assumed dedication to this company, because of how unbelievable their new game is. I am not calling you hard core fans fair weather fans or anything, but how are there so many hard core fans? I have been reading some posts, and there are a number of people who, to me, seem to have aided in the process of designing either Combat mission, or battlefront's webpage. Maybe these people are just really hard core, and really dedicated; so much so that I cannot tell the difference. But anyway thanks for putting up with me, I would appreciate any input.
  7. Yeah, what is "flaming"...? Sorry I am not up on all the "hip" jargon of <insert group here>, but this so called "flaming" is not ringing any bells...
  8. technically, statistics are random. I am too tired to explain, I hope you get. But thats the premise___CM revolves around stats, as does the rest of life.
  9. Ya I was in New Orleans only a week ago and the d-day museum was on our to-do list. However, we arrived as it was closing, and I was not able to see it. But, because Tulane University is my first choice in terms of college, I definitely will be going there soon. God bless.
  10. heh I noticed the obvious trek nature of these <borG>? hmmmm, whatever happened to those things? And if they were truly enhanced by the exponential power of AI, then the federation surely would not have realistically had a chance. And why didn't anyone develop 300mm rockets in star trek, they would have had the upper hand.
  11. Hello, I was simply wandering if battlefront was a private or a public company, and if their stock was tradable. If so, which market does it belong to, and what is that stock's call numbers? If any insiders or developers are listening, I am extremely excited about combat mission, and the overall productivity of this firm. Although I would probably be a somewhat small investor and I am by no means expecting a response from an insider, I think that such would be a great gester to battlefront's fans (which are primarily the common wargamer), and I hope you will at least consider my humble request to buy some Battlefront shares.
  12. ha ha ha this is some funny stuff... Does anyone know anything about whether battlefront is a private or public company? I think I want to buy some stock...
  13. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Germanboy: Also, don't forget that you can use them to indirect fire, you don't have to have LOS. <HR></BLOCKQUOTE> Hey I am very new to this game as you can probably see, but I cannot figure out how to use the artillery spotters for indirect fire. I mean, isn't indirect fire technically when nobody has any idea what is getting shot at? Thats what I always thought, but then, I have probably been playing the east and west front series too long. What I mean by that is how do you get your artillery to fire in a general area W/out your artillery spotter actually seeing this area? Or is that impossible...?
