Redwolf, how about "Tired of Winning (ToW)"? I think KiwiJoe had that problem for some times ago...Originally posted by redwolf:In that case, I have to require a nickname for the group around Kiwi Joe and Holien

I have to say that I like the nick "GoD" much more than the last: RoW I section III aka "Wreck's bitches (©TABPUB)"
My goal is now to take more points from Wreck than 29...(btw nobody in that section got more than that - at least I know what I am dealing with now. Hmm how much I need points to NOT be his "bitch"? )

Oh yeah!
I have some "punchingbag"-opponents like Wreck and Mattias so it should be a cakewalk. See You in finals...

Congratulations, Wreck. It's nice to see that the winner came from our section. Although You gave me very unpleasant moments in "Real Guts"! You truly are a deserving champion and I hope I learned something playing agains You.
Enjoy that wine !

Treeburst 155,
I'm pretty sure that Ari Mäenpää would also like to participate. He may be asleep or something since he haven't said anything by himself. I think he will be done in his present tournament duties when CMBB-tourney begins
And knowing how addicted he (too) is to this thingie please reserve a place for him.

Here is one scarred ROW and Nordic Champ. veteran who volunteers!

Enoch, Your nasty little task force was undetected by my scouts/observers. I paid a painful price about their blindness...I lost almost all of my reinforcements in that havoc. I managed to save the arty spotter, however. At least I stopped that flanking attempt further, I guess You got overconfidentOriginally posted by Enoch:I played the German side on that one and I used the sunken road on the (German)right. At first I just sent a few vehicles over to cover that approach. But then I sent a couple panthers up the road when I didn't see anything coming down the road. I had 2 armored cars and a Panther run into the French Armored infantry reinforcment that showed up on that side. My litle task force completely shot them up.
The French stuck mostly to the low areas and used the cover pretty effectively. They never made it into town as I had infantry in front of the town plus panthers sitting on the main road. By the end of the scenerio there were still a number of tanks running on each side. I think I still had 4 or so Panthers and I think the french still had 4 or 5 tanks (not much else though).[/QB]
I also used smoke and other cover as good as I coud, but sometimes the dice just doesn't roll favorable...
Remember that shootout between Your green Panther in the city and mine TD on that hill? My TD wasted all 5 tungsten rounds and then got a weak point penetration to that panther.
In that early shootout I was amazed to see that even M10, put in very good position and angle, coud take on pather's drill...it took 2 shots to turret as ricochets before that other panther killed it. And I sure witnessed many ricochets coming off Your panthers...
After taking heavy casualtion from that task force I thought that what the hell, it's only a game and got quite close to that city on that middle road...until the reality landed as arty and angry panthers...
Anyway it was quite fun scenario (I had my moments too, remember the uber-bazookas?) and maybe we will meet on other battlefield someday.

Treeburs155,
Is there any scenarios finished by all? I would love to see some sneak peek about the results...

Well Jarmo, since I happen to live in that hellhole I am interested. I visited Parola museum with my CM'er friends last summer and we did have a tour guide, too. We took the opportunity to measure some glacis and turret armours too, and had a very interesting day. Maybe it would be a good idea to squeeze in a visit to Artillery museum on Hämeenlinna too (been there, done that!). There is very inpressive document which they show with impressive sounds (like in cinema, just LOUDER)of the Tali-Ihantala battle. Very impressive. I think the thought is worth a shot.

Dammit Vskalex! You lost to Manpie? He always offers easy points IMO !

Treebeust155,
No, I don't have any files from Ghost Dog, but I have a setup file from Fate and we are about to start. So it is whole game between us two. Thanks for taking decisive action.

Maybe Ghost Dog is chasing ghost bone or sumfink. He haven't even replied to my email. Nor sent setup.
-
Alright...
I have finished games with Heibis, Topi and Ari. Vskalex will be finished soon
That leaves Ghost Dog. I haven't had even a setup file from him. Doggy,If You are alive, please give me a sign!
quick update. I ate Manpie for lunch. Very soft meal, easy to prepare. And Ari, remember to post our result to TB155

Juha, I understand that you lack something we other (normal?) people call "Real Life™". If you check your mail tonight, you'll probably find another reason to enhance your CM abilities.
Same goes for the other losers in my section that I owe turns

Real what?!? That thingie is way over advertised. Check Your priorities and stop cloaking Your cowardliness with "real life". I think it is Your mom who does Your turns, so tell her (or him? You never know with Swedes ) that I may be off line for some time because of some kind of holiday season called "Christmas" and take that chance to booze with old friends of mine back in home (no, not the imaginary ones. Those bastards can't handle their alcohol and there's always trouble)
There is still time before that of course, but just to let her know.

Vskalex, Just send me da frikin' file man and stop sitting on Your thumb. Your -bleep- will go up in flames, and Your pathetic -bleep-s doesn't have a chance against my -bleep-s. I have lost only -bleep- -bleep- but Your first -bleep- was toasted early on. and more will follow!

Quick update:
Ari, meet mr Drill. That's right, he's da man. Ari's -bleep- didn't get along very well with mr Drill. His -bleep- got drilled
Things are heating up with Vskalex. we are changing tired remarks via email with our files.
GHOST DOG haven't even answered to my mail. Hey man, how about that setup. I'd like to see the map too, You know. When we start I hope You can do multiple turns per day. Or else we will be late.

I second that, Heibis. I would like to see the last map also...Damn those coward Swedes...
