    I remember the reaction on this board after 9/11. A board member posted: "Someone is going to pay". Now he has.

    Sadly there still are tons of a-holes who use religion to brainwash children to be suicide bombers :mad:

    But this news just made my day. I guess this calls for a party around the globe!

    I'm offline till Sunday - the midnight sun celebration starts today here in Finland. This commander will get loaded and is not in shape to command any forces. Otherwise it would be a court martial for me :D

    Holy crap, Redwolf. Please read again all of my comments about the matter. I have been bitten by the bug IMO, but I still got a decent chance. Don't sell my belongings while I'm still breathing, dammit! tongue.gif

    One big mess perhaps isn't what You think it is. Some losses, Yes. Catastrophy? No way. As I said, by all means those not fighting for wine may play whatever version BUT their score should not count into the Nabla scoring. I just hope we'll get enough point material for the system to work.

    I have a gut feeling that majority of us agrees with me.

    Kanonier, I think You said it very clear. During this tournament, 1.02 should and will be used. If someone refuses to do so, his section should not be counted in the Nabla - scoring. By all means, if You are not in position to fight for the wine and want to use 1.03 then do it. BUT please tell it to Kingfish. He should exclude those game results from Nabla - scoring. This is the only way to have same rules for everyone!

    Yep, if You want to place Your guns to best possible position, the bug comes into the picture. Nobody shoud be accused "using" the bug! I'm glad You guys see my point. You don't change the "rules" during any other form of a game (not including tv reality shows ;) ) either. If the finals were launched today, I among others woud vote to play with 1.03. Alas, the games are already rolling and that is just not acceptable.

    Too late. I ran into one gun with god mode on, and it made one big mess. I hate to spoil the fun, but I for one have already had the chance to "enjoy" that feature. So in my point of view, if others play with 1.03 I am the one who gets shafted. Sorry, but I vote 1.02 to the end of this tourney - that's what we agreed at the beginning. And that's what the scenarios are tested with. If we go to 1.03, the medians won't be the same IMO.

    Ok, a few words to You guys in "support group" (=the Wrecked). I already had my fun with that sig ;) so I let it to You to invent a good nickname to our section. I have to thank You for good games and all kind of emotions from pure joy to ultimate sorrow during our battles. You, my dear Yankee opponents proved again and again that some sterotypes about Americans are BS.

    Let it be known that our section wasn't easy one to go through. I have a healhy respect towards other finalists, but I think nothing surprises me any more. I've been Wrecked and wounded with these commanders and I hope that I can represent our section with honour. Time to find my Finnish "sisu" and give a hell of a figt to Holien, Pacestick and mPisi. Let the final fighs begin.

    What is this I'm reading!?!

    Spanish Bombs, don't You even try to withdraw from the tournament, we have a battle to finish! My section (1-1 aka "support group of the Wrecked"), I believe, consists of honest people who don't compromise the FOW no matter what! So I say let's go on and finish our games. To err is human, so let's not make too big deal out of it.

    Treeburst155, I totally understand Your frustration, but I ask that You too would go on with this. We all have invested too much to this to let this interfere us. Pretty please with gunpowder on top?

    Winecape, If You decide not to sponsor this tourney and I win, I demand at least to get my name to Your forum signature! ;)

    So let's go on, I want to spank the Yanks :D

    Well who can blame me? It took veeeery long time by Spanish Bombs to manage get a contact distance in our match. I was sitting there sipping scnapps and waiting for his vodka slurping untermench. I heard my bored men humming (drunk) "wake me up before You gogo..." and used that as propaganda. Now my sympathy goes for that poor kamikaze [sensored] which I just blew up.And concerning that here is quote from Nick Cave: "..Just remember, the death is not the end..."

    Keep 'em coming SB, target practise is always useful :D

    Frunze -0,02

    BigX -0.55

    JonS -1,27

    I think I must be pleased about my performance, but still...

    Methinks a rematch will be in order with You Frunze. Some day....
