I agree LemuelG that WEGO shows the magic BF created. As a RT player of CMSF, CMBN has been played for me mainly RT but I think some of the subtle nuances of the game are best shown in WEGO. The proper management of forces is more effectively handled WEGO. It is super being able to handle both gameplay styles we have the best of both worlds. RT can be loads of fun if the forces at hand are not to massive so you can still be in touch with the action happening on our virtual battlefields. Cheers.

Agree the ability to move very slowly would me a realistic abstraction of snipping through the wire, and the slow animation would work to.

Bangalore torpedo? we have demo charges could they be used? Not sure which has access but I would think most assault infantry would. Maybe just a slow passage by infantry though this obstacle to simulate a wire cutting abstraction?

The quick battle map that comes up as random or open quite a bit for me is qb-061

I to play a lot of sp qb and am getting one random map set to I think open for nearly every pick in about 10 or so qb. This does seem to be an issue.

My "value for money" is measured in how much money I save by playing BF products and not spending it on strippers, gambling and drinking lets just say BF saved me heaps LOL and CMBN and future modules will save me even more

Speaking of headgear I would love it if for the Yanks they could show the markings for officer and NCO on the back of helmet the vertical or horizontal stripe.

I was playing a QB last night that had sort a wide long commercial looking single story building that would serve that Gromit. Cannot remember which one though.

Nice looking map. Lots of atmosphere. Try opening a BF quick battle map to view details of AI and setup options. Cheers.

Create a directory called Z under your data folder and drop/copy unzipped/unrared mods in there.
My CMBN dir is
"C:\Users\Waycool\Documents\Battlefront\Combat Mission Battle for Normandy\CM Normandy.exe"

Empcoth missing a superb war-gaming experience for the want of beach landings would be a great loss IMHO. For those wanting a WW2 battalion/company/platoon game this is the quintessential one. CBMN has loads of detail and re-playability it is an amazing piece of development.

Mine arrived today Windsor, ON area, Canada Post strike blockade avoided. Nicked $14.39 hst and handling by customs. Canada customs seem very diligent LOL.
