1) Because since unarmored targets are just that, unarmored, the probability that a direct hit will take out the vehicle is virtually certain. 2) I have never had any problems using shrecks or zooks to take out unarmored vehicles, so I can't verify your statement. In any case, trucks and jeeps are usually taken out by MG or cannon fire long before they get in range of the launcher.

It's good to see so many military types around here. I'm currently going to college at Colorado State (aka White Bread world) and so vets are few and far between. I was a M1A1 tank crewman, 93-96, in D Co 2/8 Cav, 1st Cavalry Division (Fort Hood). As time progressed I went from being a Driver, to Loader, to Gunner. Eventually I became the platoon commander's gunner, and finally the XO's gunner. Must have been doing something right.
