  1. Kettler: Lucky? Heheh, you are right, this game has started very well. Already killed one veteran SPW 250/9 Halftrack and SP Gun?, both with first shot. The other veteran SPW 250/9 is buttoned and hiding in the woods. It seems that my crack sniper did something to them. I have had no major losses so far. Keeping my fingers crossed. But the battle has not really started yet. Still the early victories have an impact to the global morale...

Galanti: Got a Axis Major Victory, 76-24. Another win for Germans. In this game I had one AT gun that did nothing, one Sherman that did nothing, and one tank destroyed that did nothing. Also my artillery was much worse than his (my fault). The only unit that tried to do something was the Priest, but even that got killed. Finally my units surrendered. Disappointing game this was. Fog...

  2. Galanti: Killed my two tanks, one destroyer and one Sherman. Destroyer with artillery and Sherman with assault gun. They were completely useless. My remaining Priest shot at his assault gun, damaged it or at least killed the commander. His Panzer IV? is aiming at my Priest. Not looking good at all, I'm afraid that my troops surrender soon.

    Kettler: Is away?

  3. Red blend: Blend of different grape varieties? Usually the blend of the best grapes there are?

I have usually about 10 bottles of wine (mostly red) in my "cellar". 99% of them (hehe) are Spanish, but now I have one from Greece and one from France. "Cabernet Sauvignon" sounds familiar, but I didn't find it on any of my bottles. I found "Rioja", "Crianza", "Torres" and other things but perhaps they mean a different thing. The oldest bottle was 1992.

Anyway, it's Friday and I drink beer usually. :D

  4. Yes, thanks, I found out the Alt+Tab trick already, it was not possible to enter the file name in file save dialog otherwise. I don't know if the problem is in drivers or WinXP, or DirectX 8.1. I guess that it is WinXP, perhaps it does the painting differently from any previous Win versions. Hope that CMBB has a real file save dialog as well.

I see... so if I want to have a chance to get a huge victory, I buy lousy units, and wish that you get them?? tongue.gif

Also if the forces are switched, then both of us know exactly what the other player has...

I don't know the meaning of "pucker", but this sounds funny enough, so let's do it!

  6. Galanti: We are fighting in a fog, have not really seen each other yet. He is bombing at my supposed positions.

Mick: We are close to the end. He finally decided to attack with that tank destroyer (SP gun?), and killed my Churchill with the first shot. I guess that my 152 mm upper hull plate was not enough. Meanwhile I am bombing his and it seem my own positions as well. I don't like this British artillery at all. It is very slow and unaccurate.
