  1. These are the only types for ammunition for CMBB

he – High Explosive (HE )

ap – Armor Piercing (AP )

hc – Hollow Charge (HC )

    c – Canister (C )

    t – Tungsten (T )

    s – Smoke (S )

They don’t model White Phosphorus rounds in either CMBO or CMBB at least yet.

  2. I’m starting an unofficial CMAK vehicle list? I really liked the detail on the GMC M15/M15A1 and it looked outstanding blazing away against some infantry. I’m hoping it won’t be too expensive because I can’t wait to field the M15. They were field by American forces in North African (Tunis) campaign.

I got a good bit of information from British and American tanks of WW2 by Peter Chamberlain and Chris Ellis, excellent book.

  3. I don't know what happened to my text in the last thread but I don't see any harm in discussing the release date of CMAK or anything about the future demo.

Unless people would like to discuss the pros and cons of the General Motors 6-71 diesel engine or the Chrysler A-57 multibank 370Hp engine.

I know the release of a North Africa CM has raised my interest for that area of WW2.

  4. I'm not sure when it will be released. You should see what happens when the demo is released, this website will slow down to a crawl. I have a excellent connection to the internet and I had a few failed attempts and finally was able to downloaded it.

The only problem was the CMBB demo wasn't the greatest and really not worth the trouble downloading.

I'm probably going to wait for the full release this time around.

  5. I’m hyped about the release of CMAK and can’t wait to place my orders.

I still remember receiving my copy of CMBB here at my new apartment where the mailman stuffed the envelope in my small mailbox, lucky for me BTS sticks the C/D in the manual.

I can’t wait to invade or defend Crete in a CMAK battle and use New Zealand, Australian and commonwealth units against the axis.

I hope to see a M3 Grant with a E5R2-M3 flamethrower :D you never know when you might have to break a tough bunker

  6. I've played a lot of battles as the Germans and normally every time my infantry get decimated by Russian SMG platoons.

I know the benefit of SMG platoons with their envious firepower at close range but they are awful at long range plus not much ammo. They won’t last those 30 plus turn battle if that is the only infantry someone purchases so are people looking for a quick victory with them or a little edge in battle?

P.S. just a little AAR I posted below from an interesting TCP/IP Quick Battle I played today.

I’ve really been enjoying almost pure infantry battles with a couple armored or mechanized vehicles. I had a good TCP/IP Quick Battle today with a Russian rifle company and a couple of 45mm AT guns, I was defending.

The map was farmland, heavy trees, small hills, medium damage, and dawn. I was defending as the Russians and picked mechanized forces against a German combined force. I setup my two 45mm AT guns in the rear area overlooking some open areas and a road leading into a small village.

I haven’t had to many opponents who drive right down a road in the center of the map so I really didn’t think my guns would get any good shots. The area they were covering was small so at least artillery and enemy units would have a tough time trying to knock them out.

I did finally get a clear shot at my opponent’s assault gun which was over looking his infantry advance, I set a covered armor arc and waited for my opponent to advance and for my AT gun to get a clear shot. The AT gun was positioned behind the lines in a small pine forested area and had small window for a clear shot at the assault gun.

The assault gun rotated to its left and I had a nice side shot at it and the turn ended just before my AT gun opened up. I put the LOS tool on it and it said 45% chance, good chance to knock it out, and it was hull down. I hit the go button to watch the turn and the AT gun got numerous hits on it before the crew abandoned it.

This was one of my longest battles with 40 plus turns and it lasted a few hours but it was only a 600-point battle, good way to spend a sunday afternoon.
