Can I delete the batch and icon files in my
BMP folder?
This thing is a learning curve for me cause
I never used CM Mod Manager.
I have been istalling Marco Bergman's batch
armor&vec mods in my Normandy folder. to try
them out.

" Great" I win some lose some. Maps are nice
size for my 800 Duron with a ASUS AGP-V7700
3D card. Turns play fast. I have the normandy
scenery mods set up in a BMP folder I call
Normandy BMPs which I install when playing
Normandy battles. Your battles and the Normandy Terrain look great.
Well that's my two cents worth.

I think I get it now. Its when the tank or
units disappear and there is a symbol there.
I like your Normandy battles the maps are not large and the turns play fast on my Pc.
A little plug for your Normandy Pack.

I known this may sound dumb" but were are
the Generic unit markers? Are they in the
Battle turn screens? down in left corner?
I downloaded unit markers from Juju mod.
Not sure I want to install them if I don't
known were they go.
Over look me I am age64 and play cbm Just play Al. never played
a PBEM or TCP. But have playing scenarios
downloaded from net Playing Normandy battles
now. Have a good one

To Normandy players,
I played the American Defender against Al.
In "Le Vena" battle Germans AL wiped me out.
Anybody able to keep Germans from crossing
Bridge? And win playing Americans?
Once they got across bridge with troops and
Armore that was it. Like "Custers last stand"
Playing Town in Bocage now as Americans may be another Victory for the Heer Defenders.

Just played "Falling Eagles" I played as Allied vs Al (Germans) Axis Minor Victory.
German score 59 Allied score 41 Very good
Battle. I just play my battles against AL.
Never have played a PBEM or on internet.
I just am happy playing Al.
going to play this battle over again. Very
Fun to play.

Have been trying to get the rest of Magua's
Normandy files 1,2, and 5 I hope Manx's
site comes back on. Is there any other sites
for files 1,2 and 5 I have 3,4,and 6 from
CM outpost.

Sir, I bet you have patch installed.
Go to Combat mission Folder and look for
Combat mission Public Beta.exe and click on it and new version will load if that works
make a short cut from that exe file to your
desk top

Do you guys have a counter? Is there key set
I missed? I am running a 233 with 64 ram with 3D monster card When I try to run large battles and scenarios It just takes a long
time for blue bar to load.

I am retired and should have all kinds of
time to play but I don't. Yes I get wrapped
up to much in reading CM message boards
downloading Mods from CMHQ.and some new
scenarios when posted. I have a slower cp
at 233 with 64 ram and 3D monster board.
So I have to stick with size 5 or 6 scenarios. takes some much time to load a big
map. I will try out a new scenario or play
a Quick battle about once a day.
Never have tried a PBEM yet.
Also have been reading two WW2 books by
Stephene E.Ambrose from my local Library
Band of Brothers and Citizens Soldier.

I am downloading files now. have the big one
done 24 megs and working on 16 megs file.
I will backup my bmp folder with all my mods.
Question? What happens to all my mods when
I overwrite them with the GRU upgrade?
And what happens when you run a night scenario.?

Yes I played Eye of Tiger scenario last night
and looked good with Tom's Bulge Mod.
played Allies just won. almost a draw.
Have some Ardennes scenarios 1944-45 from Tom's
page to try.
Will Check out Wild Bills "We can't Wait".
Looking forward to Hurtgen scenario when finsh.
Never played mutch winter battles before.
Looking forward to them now.
I don't play on line just against Al.
