    Hello,

    trying to get things running again I guess I got

    a Bug in my operation system Win98SE had to format Drive C :mad: Lost all my mod's Have been trying to set things up again with my G2 Asus card

    Running CMBB with 1.03 patch basic game.

    Here is a question? My 50mm Mortor BMP's is white? Seem's I remmber something about this a long time ago? I am running a new 52.16 driver in my niva card is this ok? I had a crash to desk top night? never had this before :confused:

    I think I am for a long haul before I get things adjusted again smile.gif

    Possible New Mod's For CMBO?

    A Question for Mod makers ? Now that CMAK is Out.

    Would it be possible to make some CMAK mods work

    in CMBO? Like some Uniform Mods and Sound effects

    Mods? I have CMAK Demo installed and love the new

    sounds and the Allied Uniforms with there canteens.

    Right now I can't efford to buy CMAK and My PC needs

    a upgrade to run large battles. I play CMBO and CMBB

    small maps and quick battles just Fine.

    I have 800MH Duron 256 memory and a Asus 32MB

    Geforce2GTS card.

    I soon will be age 67 and like to play CMBO and CMBB

    It is sad I got a nice custom build top of line

    PC three yrs ago and now it is obsolete smile.gif

    But it plays the games that came out a few yrs

    ago just fine.

    Dealing with Anti-tank guns

    Subject AT Gun. I was playing a QB Last night

    500 points and was playing Sovit Inf, combin arms

    1944. I had two AT guns and a SU-76M armor.

    One AT gun was knocked out and Lost my SU-76 to a

    STUG 111G near the end of battle a AT rife team

    was bouncing rounds off tht STUG and he came across

    the field to attack my AT team and was able to

    move my 76.2MM M1943 Regimental Gun to edge of woods

    The STUG never seen the AT gun crew setting up

    and came across the Field for a side shot.

    The AT Gun got him first round. The AT team on

    ground was the hero's for Luring the STUG to

    attack them.

    So if you think the enemy armor is gone he may

    have a AT gun Just waiting for you.

    Well that's my two cents

    Gridded Grass Mods

    I know this is a dumb question but I am going ask

    any how. smile.gif What is the advantage of Gridded grass?

    I have seen these mods in CMBO and CMBB to me they

    Look like you are on a football Field with yard

    Markers smile.gif Now there must be something I am missing

    Looking at Gridded Grass.

    A Surprised T-40 Tankette Driver.

    Got a new tactic. Was Playing a new scenaro

    "Deal Among Devils" Axis VS AL.My Panzer IVF Had crossed the the Bridge and had capture one flag. and was

    parked behine building because he was out "Ammo"

    This T-40 Tankette had got one of my German tanks

    with his MG fire. So he was getting Brave.

    He came across a field near were my Panzer was

    parked So I though I would give him a scare.

    by coming around building right at him. He did not

    known the tank was out Ammo. My Panzer came out

    and moved strait at him and Side swiped the small

    tank and Knocked him out.

    New Tactic If out Ammo side swipe the enemy tanks

    That's my 2 cents worth today.

    Tiger Hunting Spring 1945

    Saw a post about taking out Tiger Tanks.

    I admit very hard smile.gif Made my own scenario up

    called Battle May 1945. Made a small map country,

    Flat terrain ,Modarate small groups Pine trees

    Not mutch for inf to hide. One Flag.

    A meeting engagment. Made my Axis Force

    1234 points, One Airborne Fallschirmjager Company

    2 King Tigers {PZV1B) and One ammo truck well

    hidden smile.gif Set up Russian Airborn Company

    and some heavy armor 2 KV-1s Heavy tanks

    one IS-2 Modle 1944 Heavy tank.SU-85 Tank Destroyer. I even threw in a Serman Tank.

    Tigers rule the Battle Field, Wiped out all my

    Russian Heavy tanks. Shells bounce off them like

    ping pong Balls smile.gif Then I switch to Russian side

    ADD 2 100MM BS-3 Antitank Guns in tree line near

    Map edge. Again Tigers got all my heavy armor

    But the Antitank Guns got the tigers but it took

    two or three rounds. Thats my tiger Hunt.

    DD's Terrain Mod for CMBB?

    I installed DD's Terrain mod part A and B.

    Question does it change some Mods? Like trees?

    Are there mods you will need to add again?

    Like a dummy I did not back up my BMP Folder :eek: Can you copy the BMPs for this mod

    From the CD? But if I can't I can live with it smile.gif Just seem trees are real dark and grass has a yellow brown look ? This may be normal ?

    I see lots of folks have downloaded this Mod

    Ok Guys This is OLD Dog speaking :D

    I guess this OLD Dog got lucky smile.gif

    I download the new verion Java J2SEV1.4.1 02

    I had 1.3.1 installed Run the install and click

    the jar file SeaHawk and eif. sent me.

    double click open and it worked :eek:

    I have windows 98SE Java would run the first

    Bilaid but not the new versions. So go dig out

    my BCR papers and start battle one. June 1941

    I had played Ver 1 up to last Aug 1941 14 battles

    Hope the new BCR rules will explane more about

    Buying Task Force I have never been clear about

    that.

    Hope this post mit help somebody get the new

    Bilaid running. I had about given up.

    I unzipped the biltaid ver 1.04 and got about the

    same as you.I am running win98 SE. Not sure

    about what version Java I have but it ran ver

    1.0.1 the first Bilaid program.

    I have some Good Guys trying to help me Via

    e-mail Seahawk and Eif. It has been so long I

    have not run any Dos commands or shell. Years ago

    that was all I run was Dos commands and make boot

    disk to run Sims Got spoiled running Windows smile.gif

    I just like those EXE run files and start the

    Sim ;)

    Will keep watching the forum and e-mail sure

    somebody will have a fix or help us troublshoot

    the problem

    From Lane,

    I threw the towel in on BCR :(

    Removed Bilaid ver 1. Played 14 Battles

    Tried to set up new Bilaid Just could not get

    set up. I just am a dummy on java Programs.

    Last post from Dummy Lane :D On BCR.

    It is a good fun Program who understand it.

    Had fun trying to learn some of rules.

    Hard to teach a old dog like me age 66 new tricks.

    I think this will be it on BCR.

    I download Bilaid Ver 103 and Ver 104.

    I have ver 1.00 I just don't known how

    to start or run the new versions?

    No sure what Java I have? It runs Ver 1.0

    ok only print battle never did work?

    I have run 14 battles on ver 1 guess I am stuck

    with Ver 1.0 I have Win 98 SE

    Its been so long I have run any Dos commands

    or shell I have forgot how to do it ;)

    Guess I am stuck with ver 1.0

    You don't known how many times I Quit BCR

    then pick it up and try to learn it.

    Bilaid has helped me a lot. smile.gif

    If I could get the new versions running would I

    lose all my battles in Ver 1? :confused:
