I have YET to see a CAS mission in CM!!! They never seem to appear in QB's. And I think that CAS isn't modelled realistically in CM. I feel the restrivtions on CAS are more to prevent their overuse. FRUSTRATED!!! EZ

OK< I did a QB and bought 3 fighter bombers. Where are they? Are they controlled by FO's like arty? Do they appear at random? TIA -EZ

Actually, the Major has developed versions of TacOps specifically for the Canadian Army and the US Marines (I believe) and I think several other countries. So it's already in use as a training tool by actual military organizations. I've been playing TacOps since '94 when it first came out and it's still the best modern warfare simulation. I believe it's a valuable teaching tool for tactics. And it's better to learn those lessons in the classroom than in the field! EZ [This message has been edited by EZJCA (edited 07-21-2000).]

Actually, my workaround was to move the Humber during the setup phase. If you wait until the game starts then you're really screwed! EZ

Might want to have the stuck vehicle "button" and blow up the house with another vehicle. Might worke...never tried it but I have had my follow on forces get stuck in buildings. Bummer. Btw, I just finished All or Nothing as Allies and am now going to try as the Jerrys. EZ

I noticed today while playing CM that the mine signs for vehicle minefields have an extra line of (albeit blurry) text underneath the mine signs for troop mines. It seems to be a good indicator of which type of minefield is there. Anyone else notice this or am I just late to the party? EZ

Before this gets padlocked <g> I hope BTS takes all of the staff to Bora Bora (always heard it was nice there) and then hurries home for lots of CODING <vbg> EZ

THANKS!!! for the Mac textures. My only problemo is that AhOLe keeps bumping me off before the 17 Meg d/l finishes. Oh well, one day when I get my cable modem and the winning lottery numbers BEFORE the drawing and pigs fly... EZ
