I picked 1943 because the Germans had the greatest advantage at that time .I figure ww2 on th eastern front at its most imbalanced time was still was more even than t-72 vs m1.I assume a t-34 76 vs a panther is a more even match up than a t-72 vs a m1a1

Anybody know any good books on modern russian tanks and apc's? I have the osprey books and the modern Russian Armour book on th t-80.

I am happy about any new veicles that are added just wondering if Battlefront had planned all along to give us the t-90sa? It addition seems to be a bone to those who want tradition force on force conflicts.Maybe it's like when your kids keep conplaining an you give in just to keep them quiet.)

I see that the t90sa is being added in the Marine module. With the addition of this tank and the bmp 3 can the Sryians engage the US at I know not equal term but say at the level of the Russians against the Germans in 1943 .Say t-34s vs Tigers and Panthers .Is battlefront adding the t-90sa because of complaints about the weekness of the red side.Also does t-90sa mean no t-80s

I remember a show about worl war 3 .The show said the war would be come as you are war .The new high tech war would use up weapons at such a rate tht industry would not be able to replace them.

One of my favorite quotes of all time .Quanity has a quality all it own .I think against first line russian troops .With the Russins having large advantages in tanks artilary and aircraft Russian doctrine can be very effective .Russian equipment will not fare well, When as in the Gulf wars they were out numbered by top end US equipment .But with hordes mig 23, 27 backed up by large number of mig 29 and su 27 .The air war woud have been in contension .And russian tanks with numerical advantage can be effective.

The wars in the middle east seem to prove that the American method of war is much more effective than the Old Soviet method .Quality beats quanity.While the Arabs may be Brave theRussian exprt equipment is not their top of the line stuf. Also I assume that Arab traing is not up to russian training .So used the way it is supossed to be used with large amounts of artilirty .On the ofensive with large advantages of tanks aircraft and infantry.So if the russian insead of folding up came over the fulda gap would we have stopped them without using nukes ?

Not much interest in playing as marines .Red additions will make or break purchase for me.If t-80 and bmp-3 is in will buy if not will not .

Spent weeks going back and forth as to weather to get the game or not, bought it and have played once.Want to play but have no interest in fighting the syrian or as the Syrians.Now put top line russian equipment in and I will def buy .

Bought regular version of Shockforce should have bought deluxe. Is ther anyway to get the mouse and map if you allready bought regluar version ?

Star fleet command was great about 700 ships in total .Those messageboards were brutal

My two favorite games of all time are Star Fleet Command and Combat Mission 2.Love the varity of units in both games. I am waiting till I upgrade my pc to buy this game.I may even wait till the Marine expansion to buy this game .Do you see yourself playing this game a year down the road if no expansion has not come out by then.And with the exapnsions having the Syians as the op force when will that become old.Once you have beat up the Syrian as the Army and the Marines will you be that up to beating them as the British.

When it comes to games mostley play as the North in Civil war games,French in Napoleonic ,Germans in WW2 Western front. Russian in Eastern Front and Cold war.

While I am an american when it gomes to wargames always plays as the other guys.Since there is no campaign from the Syrian side is there enough to keep you occupied if you just want to play as Syrians?

When it comes to modern wargames I mostly play with Russian equipment.I am deffinitly buying the game,but in refference to the future expansions .What new equipment will Syria get. I know battlefront wants to stick to reality so I do not expect to see T-90's and Bmp-3's. Are there new anti tanks missles more powerfull ied's .I know the first game will be be fun and will beat me up as I get used to the new setting. But how much difference will there be in taking on the same Syrian equipment as the British or Marines?.

I have read that Rommel had a tendancy to get pretty close to the action .Do you think Rommel shoulde be included as a in game commader .I know his rank is outside of the scale of the game but it might be fun .
