  1. First post is edited to include tourney deadline and Holien's updated AAR rules. As for starting 2 threads, I would prefer to keep things in one location. If we need to cut down on the number of postings then we shall do so, but if it's not bothering anyone then let it ride. As for asking one of the board admins to make the ROW thread a sticky, while I would love to see it, I feel that there are other threads that deserve that status more than we do (Bug thread comes to mind). Besides, its not like we have a problem staying on page 1
  2. This is due to the average size of CM maps, where the M3's flanks are for the most part secure.
  3. It would appear that the RD / CMBB tourney is dead in the water. A few months after sending Cyberfox scenario #4 I asked when he would like #5. He never responded. This was before CMAK came out. To date I've yet to hear from Cyberfox, or anyone else with regards to the tourney. Scenario #4 - Krasny Oktyber - will soon be released through Boots and Tracks, and as Richie said, his own 'Battle for the Reichstag', which was to be scenario #9, is already out and availible for download. That one is a must have.
  4. I couldn't agree more. Imagine a CMAK conversion of the Villers-Bocage Op (with permission from the original author of course) but with 'armor only' covered arcs, and no 'Stuart kills Tiger with one shot penetration of weak point'.
  5. Need info on the number of CS tanks in a '41 CW army tank regiment (Matilda II), specifically 44th RTR. Also, how were they divided up into the various squadrons? Thank you
  6. Feb 15th was the launch date, and the tourney has a 120-day deadline. That makes Monday, June 14th the last day to get scores in. If all goes well I should have prelim scores by Wednesday / Thursday at the latest - and - if all goes really well (all AARs in early and evaluated) we may be able to launch the finals that weekend.

  9. Hey, this is why they pay me the big bucks. BTW, it's 'Pain amplifier'

  12. That's interesting, I thought the super sophisticated scoring system you used, had a better plan than just 65-35. Is there more to it than that or is that it? Panther Commander </font>

  24. Jon is a walking military encyclopedia. A while back I had asked for info on Platamon ridge, a little known battle in Greece '41. Jon e-mailed me several megs worth of info and scans, with descriptions of Kiwi positions and commanders down to the section level! Thanks Jon
  25. No. There will still be time to submit AARs after the last scores come in. How much time? I don't know yet, but the number is dependent on the number already submitted. If we are waiting on only 5-10 then a week is good, but if its 30-40? That is why I am suggesting that people use their time constructively and work on them now, and if possible submit them early. Preliminary scores will be announced a day or two after the last score comes in. I first have to post the scenario scores here and allow everyone to check and make sure I have the correct data. Then its a simple process of entering the data into the modified Nabla formula. This will give us a rough idea of the leaders in each section. Nevertheless, the official score can not be determined until we factor in the AAR bonuses. See above
