I do have the full version. I played the demo 3 times and the full version twice and have had no problems beating the computer. Any scenarios on the full version (small) you could suggest Thx JonP

I realize the human opponent would give a much better fight but I was just wondering if the AI is better at certain things or what? Am I just getting lucky? Are the scenarios I am playing favored to my side (whichever side I play) Can anyone out there give me a small scenario to play and a side that the AI will really kick my a$$.

Oh, sorry about that Basically, I played the 2 battles in the demo and had no problems winning (played the allies in the hilly battle and played both sides in the flat battle). I won all 3 times. In the real game, I just full FOW, dont allow the troops to be moved during setup and just leave everything else as default. I have played 2 or 3 small battles and won them all without a problem. Do you true wargamers out there find the AI really challenging? JonP

All, I keep reading about how people are saying the AI will give you a great battle. I know nothing about military tactics yet the last 3 battles I have played I have gotten strong victories. I am playing mostly the small scenarios to get used to the units. Are the people that are getting beat by the computer giving the AI advanatages? Thx jonp

Well, I am not a huge war fan but i LOVE this game. I have killed major hours with it. Well worth the $$$. The quick battle creator is great. The only thing I wished it had was the ability to set the weather as random and maybe the time of day. JonP

BigTime, For the next patch, could you consider adding random to time of day, weather conditions, etc. when starting up a quick battle? Thx jonp

All, I know I read this before but cant seem to find it again (please no flames). Anyway, I did a quick battle and I want to keep the map and make a battle out of it. How do I do it? Whenever I try to load up the map, it wont let me (this is a PBEM generated map). Does that make a difference Thx jonp

All, When I loaded the game, it asked me if I wanted to use the current resolution (1024x768). How can I change that now? I want to bump it up (I have a k7 935, 256 megs of ram and GeForce2 card so I should have no problems). Thx jonp

Newbie question about vehicle damage

All, I realize that but doesnt that disappear after that turn. It might tell me that my gun has been hit and destroyed one turn. Next turn I might have forgotten which vehicle lost its gun and would like to know by clicking on it. Am I missing something jon -
All, Can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell how much damage or where the damage is for your vehicles after they get hit? I do not remember seeing it anywhere Thx jonp

All, Just received game and have a quick question. I read that you get cover advantages of being behind a wall. Now, when I move to a wall, do I stop right before the wall OR do I make the guy move onto the wall (when I move the mouse pointer, do I make it say wall). I would assume that means you are sitting on wall or something if you make it say wall. Thx JonP

All, Not that this pertains to most of you but I ordered my copy of Combat Mission on Friday and I just checked with my cc company and I got charged $53 today. Maybe I will be lucky and have it by this weekend. I wish this game would have been talked about more on internet gaming sites. The only reason I knew about it is because I was bored at work one day and decided to read the computer wargame newsletter from www.cdmag.com (Thank god I did) Jonp

Hello I have a GeForce2 card and it works great with CM. As far as FSAA, I do not have it turned on. Earlier versions of my driver did not support it (and if it did, it killed the framerate). Supposedly the new versions (v5.30+) of the GeForce2 card is supposed to support FSAA. I dont think you can go wrong with either card. Hope this helps Jonp

Ok, I looked at my tank screen this is the ammo it has: 13h 20a 5s What does that mean? Also, when a unit is low on ammo, how do you stop him from firing? Thx

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what are advantages/dis to having your tank button up vs button down? I know the obvious that when buttoned down, your men are safe so what are disadvantages to having them down? Is the only reason is not spotting nearby units? Thx

All, If my guy is inside a house, can he fire from anywhere or does he have to be in front of a window? I assume he has to which means I should play with the houses as transparent Thx Jonp
