What do you mean? I just played Saint La Chapelle, full fog effect: extremely realistic. PS Same computer as yours. Ati 128 does support fog!

Combat Mission: Roleplay a large operation!!
Seahawk-vfa201 replied to a topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Sounds really a neat enterprise. Count me in: any side. -
I has at last turn of "Aachen" scenario 91% victory against Axis forces (AI). On last turn I was chasing down the remnants and broken Sturmtruppens and part of my troops exited the "area of concern" of two of the three "flags". As a results the victory points dropped to 57%. Is this normal behavior? PS I couldn;t care less of victory points against AI: the chap was crushed! but I am curious the same.

Allonz'Enfants de la Patrie... My first scenario. Quite something. BTS: great Wargame!!!!! Map is cool with smoked off Panthers and French flags all over.

quote:
Originally posted by Fred: Lee, I see your point...but... the people who pre-ordered are the creme-de la-creme We supported this game at a time, when NOBODY cares for CM... Still no CM in the mailbox.

Use realistic scaling and get to view #2 or even #1. When someone in the squad dies the 'men' representation take a backward bow as if someone was punched hard.

K, great news. Really. Now tell me, when should I started to be worried again because of non-arrival of my Combat Mission CD? AAAARRRRGGGHHHH -

quote:
Originally posted by patboivin: Someone dropped it while crossing the no man's land. The USPS sent it to the Twilight Zone by mistake. I don't have mine either.

PS Don't have a twin brother: suppressed on the crib to be the only heir. Other possibility perfectly valid instead -

quote:
Originally posted by Big Time Software: CEO, I am emailing you about this one. They were shipped out, so I want to check some details with you. Thanks, Steve

Could we check my details too? Still no CM here. -
I still do not have it?!?!?!? What's happening?

quote:
Originally posted by kump: Panzer Grenadier, Normally, you would have gotten it in 1-3 days. But you ordered before all the pre-orders went out, where Thursday was the final day. Your order probably went out Thursday or even earlier! So you should still get it Monday or Tuesday, just the same as us pre-order folks. Wednesday latest, unless USPS messes it up, though its remote.

Same here, ordered couple of days before pre-orders went out. I will not whine until Tuesday, Wed the latest. After that I'll jump into my F-16, punch in the right coodinates take-off and launch no less than 6 Mavericks on the target.

What about having in CM2 tanks leaving trails of their passage on the ground? It would make for a nice realistic graphic touch

quote:
Originally posted by Joe Shaw: Sorry Matt, it's the title page for TGN's CM section: http://combathq.thegamers.net/ And just to be even more annoying, it's still not working on this PC's Netscape. I get the TGN logo, then two ads for something to do with recycling and it stops. And Buckeye, if you'd use a MAN'S computer ... JUST KIDDING, IT WAS A JOKE, DON'T YOU PEOPLE KNOW A JOKE WHEN YOU HEAR ONE! With apologies to Gene Wilder Joe

Good for you. BTW, supercomputers are not for humans: they are for supermen!!

I play (less often now) Rainbow 6 but not online. I hate lag. Then I was playing a lot Hornet Korea before getting addicted to Falcon 4. Now Falcon 4 is the only military flight sim I fly. It is the CM of the modern jet fighter sims: total immersion and highest realism. I do not think there is any better in the market right now. PS graphics look like photos: you should see the explosions!
