Fionn; I have no problem saying sorry for any coment that I made. I did not call you a racist not did I intend to imply that in a....as you say roundabout way. It was your immediate personal attacks which sadden me the most. I have always enjoyed your posts/articles but did not realize that you could become so enraged and mean spirted over my at comment. I wish you would have asked me for a clarification (or maybe my English improved)rather than degrading me and wishing me physical harm. As a christen, I can honestly say I did not know you were from Ireland (I thought you were from Finland or maybe Sweeden. I guess we both sometimes gloss over past posts (I wish I was from Australia). I would never call anyone a racist(unless I knew them very well)and if you think my 3 line comment was meant that way I am sorry for that. To imagine that all I wanted to find out whether or not Fionn was IRISH or not, wow! I been told to eat ****, and hopefully to die, and that I'm a moron, and the threat of violence has been issued towards me, among other things. I find this very disturbing coming from a person of such stature. I will not respond in kind, sorry. I was just stating MY observations over reading some of your articles. I didn't think being pro-german was a bad thing. Sorry not from England I'm actually from Austria about 4 1/2 km S/E of Wien. Thanks BTS, we are all adults here and all I wanted was an estimated release information, nothing more nothing less. It seems that a possible ESTIMATED release date may be forthcoming at the end of the month, for that I thank you. If you say our release date is most likely Oct 15th, 2000, SO BE IT! You would not hear a peep from me till then and if you missed the date by a month or so SO WHAT, at least I know that was an attempt and you tried your best, however, i.e. the following things delayed the project.......or something to that effect. S&C are only human an unanticipated delays are to be expected. Just wanted to hear from your marketing department thats all I find it so much easier to enjoy the board when I have a time estimate in mind!!! I find many wargame publishers provide this service and I appreciate it very much. In fact I find it the most important support item the respective company can release before it goes gold. Just my 2 cents.....

PLEASE JUST DONT SAY WE DONT KNOW.....I FIND THAT TOTALLY SHOCKING THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA ON WHEN (QUARTER/MONTH) THE PRODUCT YOU HAVE INVESTED THOUSANDS OF HOUR/DOLLARS WILL BE RELEASED !!!! Sorry Coe I still dont know why or how BTS doesn't have an estimate release date! Even at this late date they say they have no idea when their labour of love will be released. Strange! Its a guess that the Gold Demo would be out in April at the earliest!

I say the graphics are perfect, the gameplay is perfect the game is perfect!!! I think any further improvements should be incorporated into CM2. Gives us something to look forward to. Just think were at least looking at an April release date already.....does anyone wish to wait any longer. No i dont

My bet is that CC V will more likely be released before CM!!! Therefore I'll probably buy CC V, any wargame is better than none! Getting very bored of playing the demo of CM.

My GOD what was wrong with the smoke in the first place????? It looks great to me, the beta. Please tell me that BTS did not waste 2 weeks re-tweaking the bloddy smoke!! Can't all this tweaking just take place in an add on or the Eastern Front (CM2)? I havn't had one individual (I have shown it to 12 people) who hasn't had to sit down when viewing CM. They can't believe their eyes. Sorry but I truely believe that BTS is trying to make this game perfect when it already is. I have pre-ordered 2 copies and would like to see (the beta if need be + scenario editor) the product RELEASED not some super duper polished fancy game with another 3 months of TWEAKING. I have several friends who monitor the board and contribute that all believe that the product is being tweaked way to much. Please BTS release your product before others become frustrated and spend their hard earned money elsewhere. Like wasting money on Rising Sun. I sure BTS deserves its money NOW, so release CM and charge away!!
