I meant delete the pbem file adn redo a new one. But you have properly tried that ? G

Just get them to redo the move adn send it again, it should clear it up.

You can only issue order when the (GO) button is showing. If the (go) button hasn't shown, don't stress. Just do what ever it tells u until you see the (go) button. You should do a search about pbem games to follow how they work. Hope this help, maybe someone can explain better G

I am sure this subject will be dropped as soon as the full version comes out and u can use tcp/ip to play against ppl. Just my 2 cents

Seems my tiger tank has unbogged itself and i can give it movement orders Is there time limit on how long a tank will be bogged for, or is it random. Eg stays bogged or maybe become unbogged after awhile ?

I just love this game as it keeps on bring up situations that really could happen. Playing LD adn the 3 TD turn up, so my halftracks start to back up behind cover... now this is a smart move on my HT part. Then to throw a spanner in the works a few moves later i want to move my tiger back more in the forest cover, it decides to turn around before moving deeper under cover, but, it got itself bogged in scattered trees. It had me confused why i couldn't give it movement order Know it has it's ass facing 2 TD

Just had a mortar crew killed or routed, not sure. But anyway sitting on the hill is an abandon mortar In the full version can this be capture & reused in the same game being played.

Oh so u don't need B password in tournements play ? maybe i am on the wrong track adn thinking more about pbem play. OK i understand u are middle man. But isn't that the same as u playing the game ? Arhh know i see where u are going. You are saying that u use a better player to play your game for points tournements. Well i can't say you could stop it, but i prefer to lose and become a better player . But i agree that it could be done, i may be wrong. You don't gain experience without failure.

OK i think i made a mistake. As i just started my 1st pbem game and the 1st file that was sent was by the set up player and he had changed the pbem file to be called our names and the mission. Then after making my moves a new pbem file came up. This is where i started to get worried about multible pbem files. I just did a test against myself and it looks like only 1 pbem files goes between players. If i am wrong plz advice.

Am i right to say that a new PBEM file is generated after each move and u forward this new PBEM file onto the other player. Just trying to clear this up, as it seem u may end up with a hell of alot of pbem files adn someone meantioned that u should make a folder to put them in. EG if u don't make a spare folder to put the pbem file into u could have 10 pbem files in the CM directory adn get confused which one to forward on.

Can u have more than one pbem game going ? Any place with more details on setting up PBEM games and how they work as i have found nothing in the CM readmefile.

Thnx guys for the replies. It was the liveware 3.0 DL that fixed the problem. And i thought that the game was great before sound

Hiya all, Just DL the demo adn having a blast. The only thing is that i only get engine & tracks sound. I hear no weapons / voices / explosions sounds at all. I have a sound blaster live adn DX7 installed. Have i missed something ?
