I can finally play it. Had to replace my 3dfx card for it, but defintely worth it. CMBB runs fine on my Beige G3/366 with 192MB RAM and Radeon 7000PCI. I found the new graphics gorgeous, I really feel like I'm on a real battlefield. Now I'm looking forward to play PBEM. WIll be a lot more interesting than the AI (which I never lost against in CMBO).

Just don't forget the adhesive tape… otherwise the hamster's gonna explode when you screw it

I've seen a post speaking of the Leopard II as a MBT using only mobility to protect against enemy shots. In fact, it was the Leo I, which, like his cousins designed in the 60s (AMX 30 etc) had steel armor unable to stop HEAT rounds. Leo II had Chobham armor able to stop HEAT rounds, just like "second generation MBTs" (M1, Challenger). As for gun tubes, chrome lining is used on most modern tanks, including Leclerc's 120mm/52calibre smoothbore gun. It has an automatic loader too, able to perform unloading and loading in less than 6 seconds, at all speed and on all terrain. There are 22 ready to use rounds in the autoloader with 18 more in the hull.

Well, i think i already told this, but i once managed to get my flamethrower to toast a concrete MG bunker (crew casualties), and then a few turns later a squad of germans who were climbing the hill. I could test democharges and FT against the MG bunker. It rocks! Demos are very good, but FT is cooler It makes a nice German BBQ. First my FT burnt the bunker, then he ate out a german inf squad (5 casualties). A pity he has so few ammo!

No, Berlicht, it's not surprising… First, there aren't so many wargames on Mac; second, CM is not published by a big game publisher with a lot of advertising so PC gamers, i think, don't know much about it, whereas Mac users tell everyone "hey, look, there's a new game for us !" Last, CM is not a game for stupid people. There are probably more stupid guys in the PC crowd.

Well, i never lost a game against the AI. My last after action report in CE was this : Axis : 26 cas (7KIA), 1 vehicle KO, 228 men OK, score 92 US:194 cas (53KIA), 21 captured, 3 mortars destroyed, 5 vehicles KO, 17 men OK, score : 8 Well, now i want to play against a real player to see if the AI sucks or if i'm a military genius ------------------ Obersturmfuhrer Borgiax

Well, i've always won on Last defence. Here's my favourite German tactic however: concentrating all my armour (stugs and Tiger) with infantry on the guys near the house in the left, with HTs sweeping along the road, this way i hold the US inf under massive fire and elimnate it quickly. Then i continue along the road toward the town: thus when the HC arrive, my armour is hopefully behind the houses. I then play cat and mice… ------------------ Obersturmfuhrer Borgiax
